Yes! Their adoptive parents live on the family’s ancestral farm. They have goats, chickens, and one donkey, and about 4 acres of field land. Two of the chickens like to hide their eggs in hard to reach places.. 😏 Alyona calls them the Sister Plagues.

Awesome! Y’all are the best.
I don’t have your email to my knowledge, so we can do the profile message thing or wait until next week when I’m hoping to have a system set up. Either way, I don’t mind! Just happy to bug someone else. 😉

I will! <3 (The first one came out today, and since I have your royal email, I could go ahead and send it to you, if you’d like.)
*cackles of glee* Exactly.
Yes, it is. I’m glad he feels like historical fiction (in a good way)! It’s set in an ancient/early iron age world, so the cultures etc. are incredibly historically inspired.…[Read more]

Yay! That’s wonderful!
I got 1,181 words into HoA, so… good! I got to make my characters hunt eggs through a straw barn, so that was fun. Been wanting to do it for a while. XD
I’m going to break for dinner and hop back on around 7ish.

I have no idea what makes them the way they are. They’re just dangerous. XD It’s a rewrite of the original A Little Mermaid mixed with what I vaguely understand of the Disney version with a splash of something else entirely. She’s an assassin chosen because she’s the most “pitiful” looking siren the king’s men could find. The reason…[Read more]

…..And I should have made a separate thread for that under the Platform section. Just blithely disobeying the rules here like I don’t remember the days of moderators. But who do we think we are, YDubs?
*cackles*
I love having a thread for literally everything.

Ok y’all. I’m going to post this because I feel like the KP squad would come for me if I didn’t.
*ominous silence*
Lol. Just kidding. It’s nothing bad. I’m starting a newsletter!
It’s for my illustrating business as well as my writing. If getting a letter in your inbox every other week with mini blog style articles/poetry and business updates…[Read more]

First off, congratulations on the side project! It may not be serious, but that much accomplished is exciting.
Secondly…
YES.
Ugh. Somethings are just easier to write. I joined CWM with Heirs of Ashes book 1Â as my WIP. I’ve gotten a few thousand words done, but it’s so hard to write for some reason.
Meanwhile, I had to set…[Read more]

Thank you! I have shared some snippets… A while ago. I shared the beginning somewhere, and a scene from the middle book. (First, Viktor is talking with his dad I n the field, the second Alyona is dealing with scary soldiers.) I think I’ve shared more tiny snippets from the histories though. My work on it is really scattered, so I’m…[Read more]

And here we go!
I will say, I’ve been thinking of trying to find more folky music. While all of this fits in some way, it doesn’t feel cohesive anymore. XD Much of this was compiled from Sight and Sound Theaters soundtracks (SS) Some of the lyric songs are worldbuilding stuff, like worship practices/religion etc., but most are for character…[Read more]

Here’s the aesthetic. (It’s actually hard for me to get an aesthetic together that captures this story/culture and it not look like an eclectic mess)
I’m getting the song lost together and’ll post it next.

Why not give everyone titles? Although…we’d have to think of them first.
But we’re writers. That shouldn’t be a problem.
