@loopylin That’s interesting.
I can sort of think of my characters when I’m writing about them. If I focus really hard I might be able to make out a face or two. But usually they’re in my own art style, or whatever art style I’ve seen them in if they’re “borrowed” characters. They’re never hyper-realistic live action movie type. And imagining…[Read more]

That’s a very good question.
It depends. Some characters I see in flashes of movement/emotion, so their exact features can be unclear. Others I see so clearly it’s irritating because finding face claims becomes twice as hard.
Part of it depends on if I’ve drawn them before, and part of it just on how connected their personality is to…[Read more]

My characters tend to be blurry, yeah. Some more than others. If I’ve drawn the character before, then I’ll picture an version of the drawing, just in motion. A lot of the time I just picture the motion itself, abstract, or a roughly scratched drawing. Just realized I see 70% of my charries as animated, not real life. XD
Also because…[Read more]

I do not. I can see vague impressions and shapes, and I can know what their individual physical attributes are, but I can’t put them together into a face in my mind. It’s weird. Idk if it’s normal either.
I can picture the faces of people I know, though.

I need to think about the fear responses.
How long would your character survive the zombie apocalypse?
I’m tempted to say they’d all be fine since they don’t seem to have much in the way of brains…XD
Ryla would try to feed them baked goods instead of brains and would die.
Ardon would probably die trying to protect Ryla, but if he…[Read more]

Ok. Sorry this took a bit. I’ve written several RPs, but deleted all of them. XD
Viktor
That had been fun. Viktor helped Hugo order their samples into the box the teacher had given them, listening with a distant smile to the conversations around him. It was nice to listen to the other two boys talk and know he could join…[Read more]

Eekers! Well, I’ll head over there then. I should have checked, considering you were on the RP thread. *taps nose* *poofs*
Thank you! ❤️

That’s probably a good idea.
If they leave early, maybe one of my charities will forget something in the rush, so they have to come back to get it. That way they’d be around the school during the dance. (I don’t think any of them are planning to formally attend.)

Yes, I did! I was trying to finish writing it, then got caught up all day getting stuff ready for our Dad’s birthday.
It’s basically written now. I’ll stop second guessing it. XD
Morning had come at last. It warmed the winding halls of the palace in gentle waves of sunlight that no nightmare could stand against. Ellidan leaned against…

@loopylin @elishavet-pidyon I did not make up the minerals, they are real. But I have worldbuilt to the point where I can guess what’s there cuz of location history. XD I’ve toyed with the idea of researching certain materials.
Hugo
“Huh.” Hugo absently arranged the rocks into a circle on his desk. “I was always a bit of a role-player. I’d p…[Read more]

@loopylin @elishavet-pidyon (Hi!)
Hugo
It was funny to see what the book said about each mineral. It said the corpse crystal was uncommon, which didn’t make sense at all. Hugo also identified the magnetite and schreibersite without much trouble. Magnets and meteorites collected where he lived. The thought turned into a mixed feeling as he…[Read more]

Ah! It’s Hugo! (Hi, Whaley.)
Also… Why does Viktor grin so much… I need more expressions to express a cheerful nature without sounding like a brainless lunatic. XD

Hugo
“Odd number of people.” Hugo settled onto the dark oak seat next to Victor. When he saw some of the students nervously covering their mouths as they mixed and matched substances, he took his scarf and pulled it over his freckled nose. His voice came out muffled. “Ah, you said… I want to guess. Is it corpse…[Read more]

Hey, would you still be up for doing this in the next month or so? I realize I never got around to writing/sending you a story.
I was writing one that would go in the “Appendix” for Portals: When My Story Ate Me. I just didn’t feel like it was really coming home. I realize now that I rely a bit too much on the reader’s ability to read…[Read more]

Hmmm… *Note* I made up a mineral since I couldn’t find one that fit the description.
Viktor
A little sister problem then. Viktor squinted though his dusty goggles at his partner. He wouldn’t want to pry, but Lois had been nice, friendly. He deserved the same in return.
“OK. If you want to talk about it though, I don’t mind. Maybe…[Read more]

This is a great question! Now I have to think… and think…
Dalton: Primary=Fight. Secondary=freeze He’s a warrior, but also a squirrel. Some things never change. This does come in handy though, since most of the others have fight pretty low down on their instincts.
Viktor: Primary=Flight. Secondary=Fight. Pretty standard. He’s…[Read more]

Their story is inspired by Chinese fantasy… so… ancient China… mixed with elements of, like, Japan and Korea… and my own crazy fascinations. Something like that. XD
Ahh ok. Yeah, like if he were cornered.
