Eh, I kinda might agree with your brother 🫣 not completely, but I think he has a point. While I think Kaladin does have some good development at some points in the series, a lot of the time I feel he’s just a bit too extreme.

I’m not sure what a good process is, but here’s basically what I do.

I have a doc for each of my series that is mostly just notes about the characters, the plotline, and a bunch of random culture things. And then I’ve scribbled some things down in notebooks, but I haven’t kept up with those so I don’t really know if I have that stuff…[Read more]

This. Writing the information in textbook form is my favorite way to format it.

May your words flow easily into your WIPs and all characters do as they should.

I also use Google docs and fill out the whole thing with general information, such as flora and fauna, science, tech, etc. History is by far the longest section.

Does anyone have advice for outlining magic systems? I’m looking at you, @jonas . Or really anyone. I would like to be more organized with it, but I’ve never known where to start.

Just kidding, I’m subscribed to General Discussions so I see any new topics. XD Worldbuilding is my favorite thing ever, I love it so much, and I’ve been working on it again ever since I decided to rebuild my magic system for the fifth or sixth time. So uh, yeah, I’ll stick around here if anyone wants to discuss something.

And remember y’all, we did decide to wear light costumes of some sort this week if anyone else wants to (like nothing too nuts. I’ll probably just be wearing a hat)
