Okay, here are the questions I had.
Where the characters believable?
Did they have good, individual personalities, or were they clones?
What would you say was the message of the story?
What would you say my world view was?
Was there anything that seemed unbelievable or forced?
Is there anything that you w…[Read more]

Okay, scrap what I said about the covers. I 100% got off of KP and went hunting for someone to design the covers for me. I have a friend who does digital art and cover designs, and I called her up yesterday. She said she’d do it. Sooooo, you can forget about that other cover. We are getting the real one! I am doing the cover…[Read more]

I feel like maybe we should have freedom post a pic of Fun because some of us here have seen his face claims and some haven’t, which is kinda unfair? Anyone else have thoughts?

Well, it just gives away some of what will happen to the characters. That’s all.
Is that a bad thing? Do you feel like it spoils too much? What can you tell me is definitely going to happen from that scene. (Just so I can gage how much it actually does give away)
As for the cover, I’m not sure what you are using to make it and…

Wow. You make Sanderson’s books look short.
*Bows* thank you!
So why include this Epilogue in book one then?
Um, because I like it. Is it bad? I can cut it. I just felt like it was a nicer ending the Sabina crying, plus I have a seven year jump ending in the next one, and a several year jump in the last one.
(I have a f…

Not your fault at all. I just lost my own personal race.
Yes, I can send the whole thing in just one sec. I’m going to lock it down tho, just because KP is somewhere anyone can get onto, so you won’t be able to do anything but read. Not even copy and paste. Hope you don’t mind.
So Aaron held on to the end, and he…

Oh my goodness crazy.
She’s gonna need a translator if you keep that up.
Plus, it’s just a weird mix of old and modern English. (lol)
Let the expert take a hand.
The time hath come for thou to submit thy character description. Writeth one whenst thou art ready and tageth the artists

I’m sorry it’s so long. I hope no one is reading this on their phone, because then it would seem REALLY long. There just wasn’t a good place to split this up.
So, picking up where we left off at the end of Aaron’s letter.
My Dear Joseph,
I don’t know how to begin this; It is so hard to say farewell. Dear little o…

No, wait, your not supposed to be one yet! Grrrr. (Explanation: I told myself I would get the next scenes fully edited and cleaned up before you or Keilah got on and commented on my WIP. I failed. lol)
Hee hee. I know that feeling.
Oh dear.
I hope it has nothing to do with your currant WIP.

Well, if I had a physical copy of the story, I would know. But I suppose this could spoil weather or not Aaron survives. I know this is a trilogy, but book two could pick up with Sabina or someone else.
that’s a possibility.
I thought for a split second that he would end the letter like this. That would have been blunt and h…

It was early morning when Aaron woke from a light but peaceful sleep. He had stayed up long into the night, praying and studying his Bible. He sat up and watched the dim light from the rising sun grow stronger as the sun climbed higher, throwing more light through the bars of the window.
Aaron picked up his journal…

Yeah, honestly, why wait? Not only the two things you brought up, but also the fact that they live in the same building…. I mean they might as well get married.
Do you really want me to answer that question?
My guess, the lieutenant will become a Christian himself.
Hmmmm.
I make no comment.

this is VERY long. 😊
Sabina and Aaron’s betrothal shone as alight through the dark fog of suspense that surrounded the believers. Sabina and Aaron were well loved by all, and the prospect of the first Christian wedding to be held in the capital filled the church with excitement. Of course, plans of the traditional s…

You make Alcatraz look tame.

What movement?
Uhhhhh… well…. I guess in my mind someone normally moves when they get worked up in conversation….. I do.
I can clean that up a bit. This chapter was well-balanced again

It was a long, anxious night for Sabina, Aaron, and Darrien. They watched Noah, sometimes helping him to drink a mouthful of water, but mostly just praying, begging God to heal him.
At last, in the early hours of the morning, Noah stirred and woke. Darrien was asleep on his feet, leaning against the wall near the…

@linus-smallprint bruh I guess not
on-slot
It’s actually spelled “onslaught.”
Also this new thing with Noah is very interesting! While I wouldn’t mind him dying if it furthered the plot, I honestly don’t think you should just kill him off for shock factor and “no one will ever know what happened because he’s…[Read more]
