I have a few thoughts.
“Sabina,” called Turin. “Come down, we have to go.”
Sabina deliberately turned away.
“Sabina come,” commanded Turin, firmly.
She did not move.
Turin’s eyes narrowed. “Why you little–– Sabina! You get down here right this instant! Get down or I’ll––”
This scene felt a little off. He went from being minorly annoyed to th…[Read more]

YUCK!!! You sir, do not pay attention to descriptions!!!! A full beard! UGH! No! He’s nineteen or twenty!
Ummm …I seriously thought that he’d have a beard and be in his twenties/thirties!
And I thought Aaron was even older!
I mean, I still consider late twenties/early thirties to be a young man…so you m…[Read more]

This part is a little short, but if I get a reply today before noon then I’ll send another.
The sun was high in the sky, shining down on the weary travelers as they trudged along the dusty road. The question ‘how much longer’ had been asked multiple times by every child and they were all hot and…

It is good to see that Aaron is letting others in on his weaknesses instead of trying to bear it all himself. I know his doubts about God being in control have been mentioned earlier, but he somehow seems more human and relatable when he confesses these doubts out loud (even if that is an action that takes humility).
I’m glad!…[Read more]

I love your book, it’s so good! I just don’t have much mental energy to critique other people’s work atm so I’m behind on a lot of things!
I’ll get to it soon though so keep tagging me!!!!!!!!

Pretty much the same thing as Loopy here — busy and not really online too much lately. I will definitely get caught up here, and I love your book! It’s amazing.

Don’t put the commas and the tags’ll work.
Also, I’m so sorry I’m behind. Been so worn out from work, I barely have any energy to read anything, even stuff I really enjoy. I really love your book so far so please keep tagging me! I just might be really behind and slow to respond, sorry.

@savannah_grace2009 I’d love to see a list of all the species and their abilities/descriptions of them, if you have a master list like that.
I feel like your and @linus-smallprint ‘s creatures kinda inspired my own which I’ve been working on recently.

here’s the next part. It’s a little short.
Aaron gently laid a sleeping child on the grass. He had carried the boy since late afternoon, and now the sun had long since set. People were gathering in little groups on the grass, and a few small fires soon sprang up. Aaron slowly rose and eased his…

I am laughing right now, mostly because I relate to drawing a character, looking back on it, and realizing how awful it looks. Yup, I’ve been there before.
Oh dear…. it’s horrible!
If it makes you feel better, I was imagining Turin looking even older for whatever reason, perhaps in his forties despite the fact you mentioned h…

Pythonos are anyone who gives themself to the Master, and they become pure evil.
You are right, they kidnap the vulnerable so that they can be easily influenced and converted to Pythonos.

Ok, here is the next part!
“Aaron, Aaron wake up!”
Aaron opened his eyes and blinked in the sunlight. Turin was standing by his bed. Aaron sat up in confusion. He couldn’t remember having gone to bed. “Where are we?”
“In the tavern. You fell asleep yesterday afternoon. It’s now nearly supper…

I’m just basically looking for structure edits right now. This is my 4th draft, and after I go though this I’ll pass it on to my grammar/formatting editor and then move forward into getting it published. so, basically trying to make sure the story is solid, the characters are 3D, and the plot line is interesting and…[Read more]
