Okay. I’m back again. [Only about a month left of busy school days and awkward schedules.] I should hopefully have more time next week. Now I have to remember which sections I haven’t given you feedback on.
I think the first one was when Leon and Rolf are reunited.
I think the change in point of view works there.
Conrad covered…

The dragon laptop ate LOS for breakfast! 😱
Those greedy dragon laptops…
Do you back up your work to some sort of cloud drive?

Um…… you’re off by like 40 years.
Well, maybe he will be a grandpa some day.
Speaking of…… any thoughts on his back story?
Umm… Perehapes he was a slave, or at least treated like one, earlier in his life, along with his brothers and cousins. They escaped, and tired to help other slaves.
So, how did you ‘know it’?…

It’s 18 degrees Celcius outside and the warmest thing I wore today was a sweatshirt.
*chuckles because I get to say I’m Canadian whilst living in a Southern area of Canada*
Cheater.

Cool!
My sister also tried to join last month but hasn’t gotten any response.
It would be good if someone were promoted to Moderator. Since I’ve joined kingdom pen, the current moderators seem not very on top of things.

Did you get snow???
Yes. Up here in Canada, we’ve gotten snow as late as May.
Maybe I’ve been writing too many Nazi POVs.
Probably. No soup for you.

Seems like Leon takes some pride in his strength. I wounder if he is not just working for the glory of God anymore, but also to prove he still can.
“Oh yes,” Caleb replied. “As good a master as any slave could want! He is just and kind. We are almost free here. We do the work required–– which is a fair amount–– and then we are f…

Okay, the prologue is out now. I’m a bit missy with the point of view in there, but I am trying not to care right now.
If you encounter ${ } in my writing, this just means that I am using a placeholder.
Now I need to go shovel.

@theducktator @ellette-giselle
Yeah, but the other reason to do it is to refresh the reader’s memory of the previous book. Notice that while Alcatraz complains about it, he still does it. The trick is to include it naturally instead of going out of your way to do it. So I hope to find a way to do that.
I think I will just stick with people who…[Read more]

All right, I’ve done enough outlining now that I feel ready to start officially writing draft one of The Narrow Path Trilogy – Book II: The Sword! Whew!
So this means that soon, I will be posting chapters! I think for this one, instead of using Reedsy, I will use Google docs. (I will probably use Reedsy for a later draft). It will be under…[Read more]

Lololol. We must remember that I wrote that when I was much younger and wasn’t fully sure where I stood… 😂
Ah, yes.
The fire thing was actually one of my favorite memories!! I want to write a book about it sometime. (I’d like to write about the whole experience of having church during COVID. There were so many cool things that h…

What exactly is contemporary writing? Books that come to mind when I hear this and the projects you are describing are Swallows and Amazons, The Moffats, and one more book I can’t remember the name of where two children discover a hidden town by a lake during summer holidays. (All I remember is that the boy has braces, which remind…[Read more]
