Do we have any volunteers for the next drawing challenge? I know Ducktator, you mentioned earlier you might have a character.
If not, I do have a friend, another Christian author, who attempted to make an account on…[Read more]

Ah okay. I didn’t mean upset as in angry, I meant upset more as in annoyed mildly, so no, you didn’t seem overly cross or anything at us.

Next chapter. This is my Gospel chapter, the firehose of Christianity if you will. I hope that I am not being too forceful with this, I am hoping that any unbelievers who read this will consider what is being said instead of being turned off by it. It is a little weird since…[Read more]

Thank you for the suggestions. I was kind of surprised that they were all movie soundtracks. Listening to the Ender’s Game one right now.

I should also mention, it is good you include this scene. If you can inspire your readers to think of marriage more Biblically, that is excellent, especially in this day and age. Use Aaron and your story to guide your reader to think about this more deeply.

“You two wouldn’t understand. Maybe when your older––” Aaron broke off, seeing the looks the two gave him. Then he laughed at himself. “I forgot, both of you are older then I am.”
Arron, you are really letting responsibility get to you too much. My brother tells me this when he’s trying to be funny.
Aaron is really studying his…[Read more]

Just please let me share some good writing soundtracks (or any other thing you want to do soundtracks) with you. 🙂
Okay. What do you got?

I can see why you got upset with the way everyone did the hair. Looks good! I take it this is of him when he is king?

Congratulations! You are at two wins now! I don’t know if I’ve asked you this or not yet, but what software do you use for your drawings?
Congratulations on second place!
Again with the hair!
You described him having ‘chin-length hair’, so I looked that up for men, and drew what I found. I suppose…[Read more]

I was kinda surprised when that was the song that came up when I clicked the link but I’m not complaining haha
Never be surprised if a song I provide is from a video game. Most of the music I listen to is from video games.
Also, I realized I forgot to answer your question from earlier.

Good!
Ok, the magic thing is a little fuzzy still.
That’s because I forgot about that one. Oops. Thanks for the suggestion though, I think I have a good idea on how to fix this.

I updated Chapter the 13th with your suggestions. Would you mind taking a look at it again please and see if this is working better? (The only parts I changed were from right after the description of Charles to when he begins to tell his story, so don’t worry about the rest of the chapter.)
Also, on a side note, I still have not…[Read more]

If I’m going to be blunt here, reading it I felt like you as the author felt an obligation to let me know that I am still aloud to read fantasy books, so you through that in and then moved on.
Honestly, that was the obligation I felt writing this, so no wonder you picked that up from reading it.
So yeah, I would 100% recommend m…

Also, none of this will really be in the story anywhere, but for the sake of completeness I like having as much of my worldbuilding planned out as I can, so I could honestly forgo the topic completely and it won’t change the storyline.
Honestly, I don’t really know why I’m so concerned about this, considering I only have one story set i…

It’s very good, but the whole reading fantasy seemed like you started to go into it and then pulled back and skirt5ed the whole problem. I feel like if it’s going to be there at all it needs more. At the moment it feels kinda like “Why?” If you have nothing more to say on the matter, I would consider cutting it.
Hmm. I didn’t…[Read more]

Here is my take on Prince Fried Rich. I was going to give him light brown pants, but I did not have a good pencil crayon for that, so I switched to black. Anyway, I think he needs some pointy ears and a ridiculous amount of equipment on his back, eh?
