I read the two latest and thought they were good.
I like how Cole suddenly falls into his element and ends up with his team being the top in the class. I do wonder though how he knew the right answers if he never paid attention.

@whalekeeper @theducktator @ellette-giselle
Just an update for you all so you know I’m still working on this.
I’m currently trying to explore further for my outline and have switched to paper. Right now I’m trying to get everything I know about the story onto paper. I’ve started and stopped this a few times now, but feel I have fallen into a…[Read more]

Okay, I am caught up now.
I see you already saw some of my comments. I like where this is going and I think Sara’s reaction to the underground church makes sense. You have good attention to detail as you write.
Out of curiosity, what draft number is this? I doubt it is the first.
Looking forward to the next chapters!

Thank you for your support! I’m still working on trying to piece everything together, but I do think I want to include that scene in some way.

Your welcome!
I might wait until you are 18 for Mistborn. But yeah, check with your friends as well.

yeah…. If I wanna risk seeing porn worthy covers when I open it.
Ewww… Yup, that’s a very good reason to avoid that.
(until those were taken down for being politically offensive)
Taken down for being politically offensive? Or was there perhaps another reason. One the Librarians don’t want you to know. Hmm…

Ah. I thought it might be the first draft.
Can I give you some advice?
From what I can tell about the way you write, you seem to have trouble getting through your progects. My advice to you is common for first drafts. Don’t worry about rewriting anything. Just power through, and keep writing without looking back. There is going to be…[Read more]

I have no problem throwing a book across the room. (I did that once. Right off the top of the bunk bed and into the bedside trash. I was proud of that shot) but it’s sad when you’ve spent money on the book, so thanks for saving me that for several of these. 🙃
Your welcome!
Do you have access to any audiobook library? That’s oft…[Read more]

Up to the 6th chapter. Liking it so far. It looks like your opening is well-structured for the most part. I feel drawn in and can feel the tension. Sara finding the religion stuff interesting when others seem to think it boring or not worth their time makes her a character I want to follow.
One thing. From the opening scene, I was…[Read more]

Do you think it’s worth it despite objections, or does the bad override any good you might get out of it in your opinion?
I think this one is skippable. Overall, I didn’t enjoy the story, and not just because of the content concerns.

You want to get into Sanderson more, eh?
I’m honestly stunned that Brandon can write Alcatraz and Tress. They are so different! He’s skilled!
Yes. And Mistborn is another thing altogether.
great book, and thanks for the recommendation (indirect or not)
You’re welcome!

Your book reviews are awesome!!! They’re like Plugged In for books!!
Thank you. I haven’t done one in a while. I should maybe do one on Dusties by Brett Murrell.
you did mention objectionable content several times. Was that just the lying, swearing, and violence, or was there inappropriate relationship things as well? (Not to sa…

Sorry I’m late.
Sounds interesting. Sure, I will give your book a try. I’ve sent an access request from Justin Russell (the 458th one apparently).

Sorry, I’m late. (By a week too, yikes!) But now I am here and have read the two chapters you posted. So far, it looks good. You can tag me on the next chapters.
The general plot of the story is that the townsfolk in Rosen, an isolated town surrounded by a forest, go missing, and two twins and three of their questionable allies are…

I promise it was completely coincidental.
this time.Well, you’ve already got a Roland for my dad, and a Julian and Adrian for two of his brothers. If you manage to get the names of his other three brothers in there, then I’m going to be suspicious. (You however did get what was almost the name of the 5th brother, Quinton)

That’s why I think it would be easier to do if Tyn was there. She would bring up all the objections, so it would be easier to show that I don’t approve of forced labour.
Thank you for your feedback. I will think about it further.

Very nice! I really like the squirrel. The scientist is another one of my favourites. Your watercolour is good. That is a style I would like to get into, but never have gotten around to.
