So, yeah. There’s my thoughts. I’m probably alone on this stance, but this is what I believe.
Well thank you for sharing them. I’m very glad you did. Sometimes I get the feeling that some of my readers think something I write is overly weird/wrong, but don’t tell me because ‘it’s just his thing’ or ‘you do you’. There was som…[Read more]

WOW!!! I think that’s the best thing you have ever drawn that you’ve posted on here! WOW!!!
Thank you! It really helped that I didn’t have to come up with the pose myself.
Here is the screenshot I used as a reference:
AAH it’s Zuko!! I love Zuko so much. Well done; you translated the anime-like style of the show…

I’ve been trying to draw my characters recently, but have been struggling to do so, with something feeling wrong to the point where I cannot even finish an outline before I erase the whole thing. I’ve realized I’ve let the need to make a drawing perfect become too important to me and got stuck comparing my art to some proficient artists. There is…[Read more]

Still working my way through your last sections. I am at the part where they just finished finding a verse for each letter in the alphabet. (That was kind of a fun game. You had me go and check the ESV for verses that start with ‘X’)
When Amelia started feeling unwell, I kind of suspected she might be pregnant.
It’s always the…[Read more]

I’ll leave Shadow and Loopy out of this since I haven’t heard from them on here for quite a while.
I am now ready to talk about my magic system. Why is it the way it is? Well to understand that, we need to start talking about book two. I am going to have to spoil it a bit, but you…[Read more]

Also, why does that racoon picture have an expression that so fits what I know of you? lolololol.
Dunno. He way too chubby to be me though.
My signature quote is a modified quote from Andrew Peterson. The full version is the following:

Good section! I was going to say, it seems weird that Beric would change so quickly, but now I see he’s still going to struggle.
I have the same thought as Hybrid here. Beric has not only been independent for a while now, but he is also a teen. I’m glad you included the scene of his struggle to listen.
The soup began to hiss, so A…

We’ll see if this works, but I have decided randomly and impulsively that I will have this whole book posted on here by the end of the year.
Expect big sections in the time to come.
However, if I’m going to get this done it means that those of y’all who do make comments will have bigger sections to comment on. If that’s too dif…

Happy Belated Birthday! 🎂🎊🎈
I’d give you cake, but that would be a lie, and then I’d end up being sued by GLaDOS, and that is a fight I can’t win, so sorry. I hope you had a good birthday though!
Also, question, do you read the discussion questions in the backs of books normally? I always ignore them.😅
I sometimes read them out of…[Read more]

Now THAT might have just been your best chapter ever. I could feel Alan, I could sense that he was completely trust the Saviour, yet there was also pain with it, but his grief was quiet by now. If you could make the grief in the chapter before this more forceful then it would beautiful contrast to the calm in this one.
Thank you!…[Read more]

I’m a third of the way through and I already have a lot of thoughts, so that’s good! I really like Tyn, by the way, favorite character.
Glad to hear! Tyn was a character I didn’t like much in the first draft and I was considering changing her a lot until I got near the end of it and she went through some really interesting cha…[Read more]

I think it is high time I read through everything, that way you get a perspective from someone who doesn’t have to wait for each section and reads it in roughly a couple sittings. 👍
Awesome!

Here is the discussion guide. It’s rought right now. It was inspired by the discussion guides at the end of the second edition books for The Wingfeather Saga. However, I think that’s resulted in it being written for a younger audience than my book is aimed at (I’m…[Read more]

I don’t know if Boxing Day is widely celebrated in America, but it is at the very least on our calendars.
Ah, okay. It’s pretty much like a second Black Friday here.
