@rae

I really should have replied earlier, I’m sorry.

You’re fine! I was not up last night and I’m replying rather late now; it’s not a big deal for you to do the same.

How is your work going? I think I had the same debate topic once, not sure. I’m sorry it’s not a pleasant task for you. Also girl, late night roleplaying is fun but you need to…[Read more]

Thank you! 😃

It’s a paper sketch with pencil, which I scanned into Ibis paint (my new fav!) isolated the pencil lines and darkened them (It even has a tool for this it’s the best) and then used digital brushes for the rest. The watercolor bleed brush is amazing it almost looks real!

@grcr

Thank you!!!

@mineralizedwritings

oh me goodness that looks so gooooooood…!!

😍😍😍

@mineralizedwritings

Yay! And the art turned out so well! Realistic and yet whimsical in a serious sort of way. Is it watercolor and ink?

@elishavet-pidyon

Yay I got glaze working and it didn’t effect the output too much. It did take over two hours to process though lol

@loopylin @whalekeeper @anyone else

Anyways heres Flax

@mineralizedwritings

Oh good! His character design is so cool. Hope it works out! Computers can be an adventure.

That’s amazing. It makes sense that it would work, and it’s so cool that it can. Like a shield from some sci-fi book. *Makes a note to look into it before I start my business Instagram account*

Really! I shall definitely try that.…[Read more]

I really should have replied earlier, I’m sorry. I should be available now for a while if you’re having a night owl night, because I have a debate due this Wednesday and am not prepared really at all. Our resolution is “is Civil Disobedience in a democracy morally correct?” And um…I find it to be their attempt to make us learn…[Read more]

“Where’s Felicity at?” I asked, looking around. “She was right here a minute ago. People don’t just disappear.”

lol they’re blind XD

Soldier’s pov was very fun to read btw

@elishavet-pidyon

Oops, just realized we’re in the art chat. Maybe you can reply in the chat chat lol

@elishavet-pidyon

Yeah totally! Yes I still work on Flax a bit, he’s the character I draw the most other than doing fanart. I’ve just recently finished one of him and I’m going to try to glaze it tonight. Apparently it can take 40+ minutes and my computer is slow.

Yeah so basically it adds data to the image that only the ai can see. Because…[Read more]

Ellie

The whistle blew, and kids ran towards the dodge balls in the center. Ellie hesitated a moment in the commotion, and felt something smack her hard in the shoulder. She winced back, then stood frozen for a moment to process what had happened. She blinked, then walked silently off the court.

That looks really good!! It looks like a real cover I might find, maybe in the graphic novel section of the library. The gold lettering contrasts nicely with the cool colors. I’ve mentioned before that the lighting in that piece is great.

This is unrelated to the art, but I just realized I didn’t help much with Baron Chronicles even though…[Read more]

Been a while since I posted on here, but I would like a little feedback for this little creation in Canva from 3 in the morning (I really need help sleeping.)

Obviously, this won’t be the actual cover (you kidding, I still have a little ways to go before that), this is just me having fun.

@mineralizedwritings

I do understand that. He’s a great character, but different seasons of life call for different kinds of inspiration/expression. I’ve got a few like that. Have you worked more on Flit’s project? (I don’t think I spelled that right. The translucent bird boy. That was a project if yours, right? )

That is a valid reason not to…[Read more]

Also, props to Gabriel for being a responsible guy and making the hatchet a cover. I appreciate his efforts.

Lucille

Lucy fell into a doze. When she sometimes opened her eyes, a dream haze took over, and the wallpaper flickered, the flowers blooming against each other and cascading down the paper. Fuzzy orange light stained her vision. Her mind retreated into her body and she couldn’t bring herself to stir.

The labyrinth had been such a strange w…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon

Yeah… Idk how to explain it, when I think of him he feels like the teddy bear of my teenage years or something ; ( I just love him so much and he brought me so much comfort but I don’t feel excited to draw him like I used to

Aw thanks I’ll see if I can. As my style develops more into something I would want to use…[Read more]

@savannah_grace2009

Yes of course! I’ll compile some ideas and get back to you later this week!

(Mayyyyy or may not have forgotten about this 🫣😂)

@mineralizedwritings

I’m enjoying thinking of him growing up. It’s a little bittersweet.

Welcome! And if you do want to share some of your more recent style I’d love to see, whether it’s seeing old characters grow up or getting introduced to new ones. 🙂 Plus, seeing other’s styles develop is encouraging.
