@notawriter My curent writing project is… Dystopian? Futuristic? I’m not sure what to call it. It’s set at least 100 years in the future, and people have special powers after a mega volcano was set off by nuclear activity.

@rochellaine Thanks! there are quite a few names that are obviously taken from the Latin, but they aren’t as pretty in other languages. I study Latin, and I love how some Latin words are just begging to be a name. So here are a few with their meanings:

Doloris~ greif, pain

Gratia~ grace, favor, thanks

Ira~ anger

Maris~ sea

Valeo~ to be well
