@michael-stanton Dragon Snapper will never stop laughing. I think I’ll be grinning all night after that. 😀

As the dark vapor seeped out of the room, Dragon Snapper blinked at the door. Then, galvanized into action, she charged after the evil overlord, @michael-stanton. “Does that mean yes? You can be your own independent villain that’s not as cliche as Thran or Throy or whatever his name was!”

@rachelle @anna-Brie I saw you guys found MBTI a bit unreliable, and I was just wondering if any of you have ever tried using the Enneagram (another personality tool) instead? I found it to be a lot more helpful in regards to characterization. I think the MBTI is better for real life applications, but the Ennegram gives quick insight into the…[Read more]

@that_writer_girl_99 I’ve been playing for almost three years now, though it feels like forever! 😛 I prefer sheet music to tabs. I tried to do it once, and it was quite confusing. 😛

@feedingmygoldfish 😀 Thank you. It is really fun to play either style (don’t ask me which one is my favorite, because I’m not really sure). A weird thing about me playing guitar though, is that I can’t read tablature, which is what most guitarists use to play melodies. Instead, I read sheet music. 😛

@kate-flournoy Well, you’re very knowledgeable on the subject. *uses the force* she is the Chosen One… Seriously, though. You are great at explaining things!

@feedingmygoldfish I do both classical and contemporary, but the classical isn’t as fancy as some people might do it. I can play a melody very easily, but if it has some accompaniment, it may take a bit longer for my fingers to figure it out.

@kate-flournoy Sometimes, I think that you should write a book on writing books.

Josiah DeGraaf replied to the topic ARCHIVED – Homework for Video 10: Theme & Scene Structure in the forum Writing Assignments 9 years, 5 months ago
For scene 1, both your action and reaction sequence sound like part of the same action sequence–at least in summary. How does Natalia react to this event? Does she just forget about it in her disdain, or does she think at all about the event?
And then how would you say scene 2 relates to your story’s theme?
Ah–got ya.…[Read more]

@that_writer_girl_99 Black arrows. Gotta watch out for those. If you get hit by one, you lose a scale. As far as I can tell, I haven’t been hit by one. Oh, and bees. If you get stung by a bee.
@ethryndal *smart-dragon grin* Of course. I can write things, and Smaug only sleeps all the time.
