Hello, @adry_grace! It’s nice to meet you. 🙂 I CAN’T WAIT FOR CIVIL WAR, but I’m not sure who’s side I’m on… 😛 What are your favorite books?

Okay, scratch the first post. 😉 I have to share a little bit about one of my favorite cultures with you.

So, there are these short people that look like really ugly dwarves. People call them trolls. But they’re not— they’re actually Ingrim.
Theirs is a very solemn, serious culture— they live underground, in all these magnificent but simple…[Read more]

Welcome to KP, @adry_grace! I’ve not read a ton of scifi, but I have a scifi novel all planned out that I’m super excited about. Why do you like scifi so much, if you can tell me? Is it just all the awesome, confusing, techy stuff that makes no sense and makes your head spin? 😉

And: Salutations. 😉

Oh yikes yikes yikes, you guys, that’s a lot. Very impressive.

I would share mine, but y’all would be stuck reading one post all day. 😉 Besides, a lot of it is still moving and growing and shifting, so I’m hesitant to put down anything in stone.
I have so many cultures, and so many different ways they changed, and morphed into other cultures…[Read more]

@writefury Try again! 😛

@write-fury Zach Hunter inspired me to run a fundraiser to help free slave children. The night was a great success and we raised $2,120. (Not sure what that is in American dollars)
Oh wow! That is so frustrating!!! I’ll make sure that if I ever make it to America (I’ve just got to one day, so I can meet you all 😀 ) I’ll go before 8:00
I’m trying…[Read more]

oops. Try tagging thing again @adry_grace
*nods.* that’s better.

@ardy_grace Do you love sesame street? Cause I do!!!! Go all sesame street. In fact I’m learning a song from there. It is called “I don’t want to live on the moon”
Anyway…with that out of my system…Welcome to Kingdom Pen. A great place. Full of useful information. And extremely funny. (At times) 😀
Wow! Who would have guessed??? You like to…[Read more]

Magic Press
Daily Magic
The Daily Fantasy
Fantasy Society
The Fantasy Times

I don’t know if any of these are good. I’m not thinking very well at the moment.

@overcomer Thank you so much. I wrote this one evening late last year when I was thinking about how far I had come since the beginning of the year, when I felt the way I described in the poem. I’m so thankful to the Lord for being there for me, even when I thought He wasn’t, and for never letting me go. I’m so glad that you can relate to it, and…[Read more]

Yikes! You guys are much more of a writer than I am. How do you come up with it all? *Bows in respect*

Come on guys! Don’t let this topic die now!!! 😮

Hi @overcomer Welcome to one of the most awesome places in the world. 🙂
Jump into “Where do you live” topic under General Writing Discussions and tell us which state you’re from. And a bit about it. 🙂

@Daeus, That’s a great idea! I’ll just stop doing school and write all day…XD 😉 😛

It’s a good thing that you think so seriously about stuff like this, Mallory! I admire that, truly. One thing that helps me with this when I struggle over the difference between ‘making a name for myself’ and glorifying God is to remember that this gift isn’t even mine to be proud of. God gave it to me. There’s nothing at all I did to earn or…[Read more]

Well, I guess it all depends on why you want to use a pen name. For the longest time I thought I would be forced to— my last name being, as you see, rather an odd and unpronounceable one. 😉 But when I finally came to a decision, I realized that nothing, absolutely nothing, would compare to seeing my very own real name printed out on the cover…[Read more]
