Thanks for the tips, everyone! I definitely have a lot of work to do with it. This is all the first draft so it’s pretty rough now. With school starting I’ll have less time to work on it, so I’m trying to write as much as possible.

The people! I wanted to make a series that I would enjoy reading lol. I am still making the world. That sounds weird out of context! Still working through some plot holes overall, but I have the end of the first book (I love cliffhangers!) and the first 8 chapters. Writing it is easy, but I’m dreading editing…

Mostly classical, hymns, and I learned how to play Golden Hour last year.

No way! I literally just added a character named Soren! It means stern, I believe, so it fits with the character. I love picking names that have deep meaning. One character named Geldin I named after the German word for beloved one, Geldiebte. She’s about the same age as Kydon if you catch my drift.
