Tagging people so they see I’m talking to them…. No pressure to respond unless you want to.

As much as an instalment is intended, it probably won’t happen this next week. (Maybe, but unlikely. We have a drafted chapter, but the work needed is…[Read more]

Since I’m being forced to write poetry, (which is horrid) I may as well read it, (which is fun).

It’s not actually from the 40s, just in the style. I don’t know what kind of wool. I got it as a gift, and the tag doesn’t say. XD
Cool!
Every time I put it on I feel like I’m going to go roll bandages with the Ladies Aid. XD

So most of you probably remember my little project back in March, you know, the collection that I put together that was a mix of poetry and short stories, allegories and things like that. I gave it to my youth group as part…[Read more]

Thank you for reading it 💜
It’s probably my favorite thing I’ve ever written!!!
Thank you for sharing. I’m going to screenshot this and save it to my phone, if that’s okay.
yes that’s totally okay! I’m honored that you want to, honestly!

Wow, that’s crazy. But I like that as an idea to go off of. I probably won’t make it too drastic just bc I don’t want to take the story that direction, but that does spark some ideas.
Thank you!
You can do this! It’s worth it.
(plus, hey, we’re all in this thing too…writer’s are crazy)Aww, thanks girl!!

Oh, okay then.
Those books are cool, but they also have a lot of wacky things theology-wise.

I KNOW! When I was reading that I was like, “No way! This is what happened to –––” Except I don’t think Drew Carter’s dad died in Dessert Storm. And was he Special Forces?

Your advice is so so helpful!!
And it drew attention to a weaker part of my book—my FMC identifying the lie she’s been believing and accepting the truth. That turn-around moment is a part I’m still working on, so you pointing that out is awesome. I think right now she’s just been living this lie without experiencing any consequ…[Read more]

Hey guyssss! (I tried to post this two days ago but didn’t copy what I wrote, so I gave up after it didn’t post 😭😂 So we shall try again!)
In the third draft of my novel, my FMC’s arc includes her making some bad decisions and going down a path she regrets. But in the midst of the aftermath of those decisions, she is actually kind of enjoy…[Read more]

Hello hello hello.
…
I’m rewriting TPE (I’ve renamed it to A Fire Within btw, so I’ll probably call it AFW instead) for the billionth time and I’m pretty happy with it so far, so I’m going to start sharing it again. Andddd… yeah. Tagging everyone I can think of atm, but feel free to ignore. I don’t want to bother anyone. 😅😅
Did you know that today instead of the 25th was originally the day that children got presents? (Personally, I like waiting almost a month for them instead of getting them right away.)
Same.
Sure! That sounds fun!

We have one that’s more like a jelly salad, and one that’s a barbeque sauce. We usually eat the second one on meatballs for Christmas, but sometimes, (like this year), we have it for Thanksgiving as well.

That sounds fun! We could also share and recommend poets/poems with each other maybe.
That’s definitely something I think I need to work on in my writing.
