It’s beautiful! I love the almost Ireland fairytale, almost medieval Europe feel. Lovely.
(Also, I hit you with some snowballs, so you could share some more scenes from Golden Song. In case you were wondering. XP)

Ah. Such fun. I love the kid’s reactions. XD
Leon laughed, a knowing expression on his face.
So…what is a knowing expression? Raised eyebrows? A smirk? This is such a vague description that his face won’t settle into one expression. It’s just a blur.
This is random, but I’ve noticed that your characters pray in turns. Is…[Read more]

I love it. Quincy seems good at activating ProtectMode in people. I need to tie that into the book.
Alrighty then.
Leo
The row of hedges ended in another lane. Leo turned up it for a few feet before darting around a large glass greenhouse with a gasped out prayer. He sent a glance over his shoulder.
Rory…[Read more]

Gotcha. We’re either going to an apartment flat, or their ship the Mantis, you pick.
Silvia
Number sequences flashed across her tablet. She stifled a groan. They had a tail.
A drop of sheer terror made her dizzy with the images, the sounds parading through her head. Pounding feet. Sharp metal. Blood.
She sucked in a deep…[Read more]

Then maybe it’s a good plan.
Well, the object doesn’t need to be heavy. It needs to leave a convincing imprint on the scene. This the fabric filled sack.

Wow. He’s awesome. And delicate in a quiet strength kind of way. I keep coming back just to stare at his wings.

Agreed. Problem is, my hands are too full of snowballs at the moment to build myself one, so-

This is not something I would enjoy doing, but it’s a thing. So here.
1) Get some boots a couple sizes too big, a large overcoat, a pair of gloves, and some blood from a butcher (or kill a dozen or so pigeons).
2) Fill a burlap sack with a bed sheet, linens, ect. Set up the parlor with your typewriter facing a window as if you were…[Read more]

Ack! Sputter, GASP.
Fine. I’ll just have to use words from my actual WIP.
A voice broke the peace of the mountain side. “Wonder if they’ll take us this year.”
Zlati whipped around, concentration thoroughly shattered. Flopped a few paces away, Vulka lay in the sparse grass with a grin firmly in place. He rolled over onto…[Read more]

Leo
Great blue stars. Leo’s teeth clenched. A tail, here, halfway home. These creeps really hard no discretion. “Good man. On Zero.”
Three.
He tapped his com unt to alert Silvia.

Leo
He smiled, his throat going tight as he watched the kid. He shifted Quincy to put an arm around Rory’s shoulders. “We go home, if you’re good with that. I’ll explain on the way.”
Rory didn’t outright object, so Leo took that as the agreement he needed. Silvia had taken to scanning windows. Her fingers were wrapped…[Read more]

I don’t actually remember…it came up in a random topic a good while ago, which basically ended up with a bunch of twins talking Twin Talk and trying to understand Singletons.

Twenty-eight. Twenty-five. Twenty. Leo felt his teeth grit as the boy slowly climbed down the building. Eighteen. Fifteen. Twelve. He edged back from the fall zone.
Rory reached the ground and stood on shaking legs before sliding down the wall. Poor…[Read more]

*randomly appears out of the shadows*
Honestly, I’ve enjoyed the ones with a vague goal more than structured storylines. It ends up with each character having their own goals in the RP, which helps me more with character development than following a set story line. I suppose I just like the traditional Role Play style which ends up as almost a…[Read more]
