The days passed and Joseph worked hard to build furniture for their home. He found woodworking trying at times, but David and Stephen helped him.
Amelia began to bring over blankets and dishes she had saved, and men and women of the church gave…

What I meant by “breaks immersion” is that I didn’t really want to pay attention to the spells. They have no use to me. They’re deeply evil in Alan’s world and useless in mine, so what reason do I have for needing them in my memory?
Makes sence.
Also the Tyn-Oliver fight was a little confusing to me after Alan’s muddled spell mind, so I…

No comment on Alan fighting Tyn and Oliver? I thought for sure you would protest about that. You kept on saying you were hopping Oliver wouldn’t betray Alan.

The spells. Why do we need to know the images?
I sincerely hope none of this offended you. If it came across as harsh or mean, that is not my intent. This is (as you can probably guess) something I feel strongly about.
I for one thought the spell images were well done…
And I think the images paint a good picture of w… -

“Joseph, what if I displease you?”
Joseph and Amelia were sitting on the steps in what had become their normal place for talking. They were watching as David and Stephen played ball with the younger boys. Joseph had just finished playin…

The next morning, Julian and Leon left to start another journey. They wouldn’t be returning to the capital, so Joseph sent no return letter to Sabina.
Joseph walked with the two former soldiers outside the gates of the town. It was good to be with old friends.…

By the way, how did native-to-Earth animals get to Ehverwyld? I can see the otherworldly animals like vandergrits and dragons having been there since that world’s creation, but what about the crows and horses, etc.? Did they come through the same portals that humans did, but by sheer accident? Or were they created there (Like God just k…

🤣🤣 Everyone likes the Barnes meme I see!? I guess it’s a little out of the blue. Anyways, there is your out-of-context meme for the day, hehe.
Maybe I’ll finish the ten-shots scene and actually post it, now that people are hooked on the concept.
Goodness 😆

Cool! Yeah I think for me the idea of four wings came from one of the really cool dragons in httyd 2.
Yeah it is fun! Oh man that would be hard. Though I guess with magic you can make it however you want. Does his magic use any of his body’s energy, or can he use it as much as he wants?

Thanks!
Yeah I’m hardly done, I’ll need to work on the muscles eventually too, this was just kind of a test run for the new wing design. -

Thanks!
It’s two wings with two layers each. It would be four, but they are fused together at the ends (Yes they do fold and unfold I’ve tested it with a paper model lol)
hmm for a couple reasons actually. Flax has to be super lightweight to fly for one. Usually winged creatures in books are just people with wings, but realistically…[Read more]
