@WaterLily  Hey!  Yeah, I love the dialogue…lots of great lessons in there 😉  So, have you seen the 1980 version?
@KBallen  Wow I bet that being in a play about it was uh-mazing!!!!  No, I haven’t read any other of Austen’s books, but Emma and Sense And Sensibility are on my To-Read list.  🙂  Have you read any of the others?
And have eit…[Read more]

I would also be in Ravenclaw if I was in Hogwarts 😉 I wonder if they’d let in a wolf…?
(Arggh! See what I mean?! XD)

@KBallen *shakes the proffered hand* Nice to meet you, Kylie! 😀 Oooh, ENFP. Nice! My brother’s an ENFP. You guys have gotta be one of my favorite types. 😀
I see from your forum bio-thingy that you like Harry Potter. I do too! Do you know which Hogwarts House you belong to?

I made another post! 😀 I won’t tell you guys every time I make one, but this one may or may not be about dragons.
And it may or may not mention a melted chair. 😉
Just sayin’.

@kballen Ooh, which house? 😀
I am Dekreel, a Red Chasm Beast who would normally be evil, if I wasn’t rescued from the chasms as a youngster. (And no, I’m not a wolf, despite the fact I keep calling myself a wolf, I’m NOT)
Anyway, nice to meet you! *tries not to dig claws into your hand as I shake it*

@kballen Thanks!! (Have we met?)
@aislinn-mollisong LOL Yeah, Xonos was my favorite one to draw (next to Daeus and Daniel)

@kballen Thank you, and Griffons are amazing! A few of my characters are Griffons, one of which I really like.
My favorite food? Oh boy, that’s a loaded question. I love practically any kind of food, although I will say that lately I’ve been very fond of roasted sweet potatoes. What’s your favorite food?

@daeus I wouldn’t mind sharing my poems, but the format of this forum is not great for posting poems here. Between every line is a double-space, which would make the poem twice as long as it is supposed to be. If you could recommend how to feasibly post a poem, I can do so.
@kballen Hi! I’m not sure what my favorite food is, but a couple t…[Read more]

Hello Kylie! I know I’m a little late, but welcome anyways! 😀
When I was looking at another post I saw you mentioned that you were in Pride & Prejudice. So am I! I have been acting for 5 years through our homeschool co-op, (and I’ve acted out stories with my sister long before then 😀 ) and this year we’re doing Pride & Prejudice!…[Read more]

@kballen Hi! That’s cool! I’ve never read Pride and Prejudice, but I want to now. My favorite food….hmmm…probably quesadillas, since I make those for lunch almost every day, if I can! 😸🌮🌮
@daeus Someone else told me about NaNoWriMo. It looked fun (and scary!), but since none of my good story ideas have plots yet, I’m sure I could never do it…[Read more] -

@jane-maree Hmm… that’s a hard one. I’d have to say that Rogue One and Revenge of the Sith tie for my favorite Star Wars film. Unfortunately, those are the ones where everyone dies. 🙂 From the way the trailers look, though, The Last Jedi will probably be my new favorite.
@daeus Yes, I am actually a male. 😉 Maybe we should do something to fix…[Read more]

Eeeep! Another one!
I am doing NaNoWriMo, this is my firstish time, but I have done Camp NaNo and have written over the 50k for that so, it’s pretty much the same.Everyone writes differently. I go to the point of plotting out every chapter and the characters and their arcs and aaaaaah! Aaaaall of that fun stuff!
Some people just go…[Read more]

@kballen sorry it’s taken me so long to reply to you! I’m doing NaNo this year. What’s your name on the site? I’ll add you as a buddy. 😀 The best thing I can recommend (I haven’t done NaNo before but I did Camp NaNo in April and got 50,000 words) is 1. plan. even if you prefer just winging it, make some sort of outline or plot. Do exercises to…[Read more]

@Kballen so exciting that you’re doing NaNo!! (I am too.) Like the others have said, having an outline is very helpful, and so is having a group of encouraging buddies who can spur you on in writing. That was one of the things that helped me most. 🙂
K.M. Weiland has a bunch of great advice on NaNo (here’s a link if you want to check it out). -

A series I would highly, highly, highly recommend is The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall. Those are really cute books. Has anyone read those?
