@seekjustice Shame on me, but I’ve never actually read the original Robin Hood book. My grandmother had it a few years ago, but I never got around to reading it and now I guess it must be in storage where a lot of her stuff was put when she moved. So, my knowledge of the Robin Hood legend mostly comes from the RH opera and four or five old m…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Okay…maybe you’re not quite heartless. 😛 I’ll think on it and get back to you with the verdict.
Hm, John in love with Marion too? I considered that. I’m not sure. That would be pretty cliche, though, wouldn’t it? You have just one female character in the story, so all the men are in love with her? 😉 I guess that could…[Read more]

@rochellaine Wow, that’s quite an interesting twist to the story! I love it! 😀
Maybe John could be under the delusion that he and Marion are in love as well, so he does what’s she asks (????) To redeem Marion, I’d have to think on that… maybe some backstory plays into what she does???….
Jay Blue….I like it! 😉

@seekjustice Well, I don’t like turning good guys into villains, but I have no problem with turning villains into good guys. 😛 So what I thought was…of course, first of all Prince John is good. I needed a bad guy, so King Richard will be semi-bad. I didn’t have too much of a problem with that because you don’t really get to know Richard as h…[Read more]

@rochellaine *innocent face* Who, me? Heartless? 😛 Why, no, I’ll prove you wrong. 😉 a conversation I just had yesterday with my brother:
Me: *flips through some pages of my WIP* *sobs*
Brother: *walking by* What are you doing?
Me: Oh my poor characters! My babies! I’m sorry…
Brother: Um, what are you doing?
Me: My poor Rin… my poor…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 I no longer think @seekjustice is the most heartless character-killer here. You are worse, in that you actually gloat over it, while she at least is sorry for her characters.
😀 My characters are doing better, I think. I’m having a bit of trouble with the hospital scenes, since I would normally ask my mom about medical stuff but s…[Read more]

@seekjustice Haha! I do, I do.
What are you working on? I had a really weird and complicated idea for a retelling of Robin Hood today…
@jenwriter17 Hello! I’m not even gonna ask how your characters are doing. Not even gonna. 😛
Um…how are your characters doing?

@rochellaine Oh, yeah that’s totally understandable. Though it seem KP is being abandoned, at least somewhat 🙁
I can’t remember exactly, but I think they were devotional/theological books of some kind…
Yes, I knew you weren’t trying to promote yourself on me (but you should! 😉 )
@jane-maree Yes, I am preparing myself mentally for the…[Read more]

@valtmy Chara and myself do thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Perchance there is hope for our story to be written without the tragedy of it costing us both our lives. How does your own book progress?
But now, I pray you, why did you this harm to me, to make me intent on writing verses of love? My head is filled with thoughts such as th…[Read more]

@valtmy Ah, a trying journey indeed. Alas, but my WIP is neither smoothly nor easily written. I pray you send some encouragement my way, that I may with renewed hope attempt to conquer a heroine who has vouchsafed to swoon at every inconvenient moment and to weep at the recollection of past troubles. She is becoming a great trial and nearly ha…[Read more]

(Upon the chance that you may wonder from whence cometh my fair speech, I have Robin of Locksley on my mind.)
