@hannah-c It looks good to me. Short and sweet, like Brianna said. I don’t think you’re missing anything. 🙂

@ClaireC I would read it because I like war fiction, especially WWII fiction, and I like Australia. If this is your actual book synopsis, you might want to focus more on Evelyn’s character arc, like Josiah said. But if this is just your basic story idea, I like it. 🙂

@bluejay Wow, that’s amazing! It’s so realistic. How did you post it? I’m still figuring out how to do mine.

@bluejay I think I’m gonna stick it through ’til October, but you guys have fun! Sounds like it might be the Hobbit, which I can’t read anyway. Enjoy your new Club Manager position! 🙂

@bluejay This is really great. I’m not sure what kind of poetry it is, but I like it a lot. The only thing that seemed out-of-place was the word “Polite” ending the gentleness verse. I’m not sure why. Maybe because the other lines are focusing on the sweet, thoughtful, er…gentle nature of gentleness. Is that helpful?

@bluejay That’s too bad. Living in the country is such fun (for me anyway), but the downside of it -no people- is pretty terrible. This is the first year I’ve been part of a good youth group, but it’s changed my life and I’d miss it a lot if we had to leave. KP is so awesome. I’m glad you are able to get some Christian fellowship, even though it’s…[Read more]

@bluejay I was in church, first at a conference and then at youth, pretty much all day today, and although I didn’t have much time for Bible reading, I got touched by the Holy Spirit in a pretty amazing way. So I had a completely awesome day in that respect. Hopefully I’ll be able to read a lot tomorrow. I’m kinda fired up right now. Guess what…[Read more]

@hope If I were you, I would keep the prophecy stanza and delete the bolded part entirely. Although it’s poetic, it doesn’t really add anything and it’s very vague.

I agree with deleting the bolded sentences. And it seems too long to go on the back of a book, but I really like it. It’s a good summary. The one phrase that really doesn’t flow is “An oath to the king and an assassination attempt later, the messenger…” I’m too tired to think of anything else, though. 🙂

@ClaireC @Anna-Brie Yay, we can all do it together! 🙂 And @ClaireC please don’t worry about it. I don’t mind waiting. 🙂

@theliterarycrusader Thank you so much for joining KP! It will be neat to have a “real” writer to ask questions to. (Not that everyone else isn’t a real writer, but you know what I mean. 🙂 )

@Anne-Swiftblade Welcome! Your username is cool; you sound like a character in a medieval adventure novel. Wow, you’ve written quite a lot. Good for you! 🙂

@bluejay Oh, wow. Good for you! I’ll be praying for you. And, you know what, lately when I’ve tried to read fiction I just haven’t been able to get into it. I’m so hungry for the word of God right now (which is unusual for me; I love reading). So if you don’t mind, I’d like to do it with you. Are you starting September first?

@Christi-Eaton Hmm, book reviews. What about…what is the first Mark Of The Lion book called? A Voice in the Wind? Is that a good book for a book review?
