Congradulistactions, @dragon-snapper!!! It is so nice to complete a novel, no matter how many years *coughs* I mean, months, follow. *smirks* I’m so encouraging, aren’t I? Seriously though, congratulations. 🙂 80,000 words is quite the achievement.

@sarah-h, Thanks for the reply! I think the main allure of Pinterest for KeePers is that you can create a story board for your book. I know @hope does this quite often for her books. Here is what she does with it. I am going to start doing it very soon as I know it will help me. Characters especially frustrate me because I can never decide on how…[Read more]

@sarah-h, it is always better for us to know about a potential issue rather then for it to go un noticed. It could be something we will need to address in the future as we start to move toward a mobile and tablet friendly site. So that will definitely be something I’ll keep an eye out for.

@bluejay I’m going to be writing for about half an hour if you are still here. 🙂

@Daeus Pure Genius. Will you permit me to put that quote on a picture (with proper credit, of course)?

@bluejay I have a meeting for the next hour, but I’ll be editing/rewriting for a bit around 9:00ish if you are still on then.

@Christi-Eaton Yes! They show quite a few of their things on there for a limited time after airing them on TV. They are normally on for two to four weeks, so since the fourth episode just came out, I’m not sure if you’ll still be able to watch the first episode or not for free or if you’d have to buy and watch them elsewhere first… Here’s the…[Read more]

I could happily strangle you, @anne-of-lothlorien for tagging me on a post like that on Monday morning. No warning of spoilers either. Mom, Joy, and I watch Poldark (love the show) but we can’t watch it live so we stream it from the PBS Masterpiece site on Mondays (did you know you could do that, @Christi-Eaton? PBS has it for free on their site…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy I love Little Dorrit, and most of the other Dickens movie/mini series out there.
@sarah-h I’v heard of I am not Ashamed and it looks really good though I’ve not seen it yet.
I really want to see Priceless too.
And The Great Escape and The Imitation Game are really good. I didn’t care for Unbroken as much, but that was because…[Read more]

@mark-kamibaya The Inkheart books are even better. The first one seemed a little slow because the movie quickened everything so much, but I still liked it and I loved the next two. Inkdeath was my favorite.
Yes I’ve seen the Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes movies. They are pretty good. I’ve seen the Martian too. A few objectionable parts, but…[Read more]

All this feedback has been great, everyone!
Just curious, has anyone interacted with us much on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)? If you haven’t, is there any reason why? If you have, do you find the posts helpful?

I’m praying, @Daeus. I think I can safely say it’s not your writing which at fault. The scene is necessary as an inciting incident and it is tragic, but it isn’t gruesome. If everything written was sunshiny, then there’d not be much to write about…though I suppose hearing a murder in the first chapter could be startling if one wasn’t expecting…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy Welcome to the club; people generally think Joy is older than me too. And they are always surprised when I tell them I’m 22. It’s quite fun, really. 😉

Sounds grandtistic, @aella. 😉 My planning is…coming. Kind of. I have the novellet outlined, but the plot of the novella is eluding me right now. I’m working on it though, so hopefully I’ll have a basic outline figured out this week. (though I’ve been telling myself that the past three weeks so we’ll see…)

Welcome @brandon-miller! Ooo, I like Air Force One too. Harrison Ford is a great actor, and I generally like the characters he places. 🙂

@mark-kamibaya, unfortunately, the long wait time on publication is normal for an E-Magazine. 2 months is actually on the shorter end for this industry. However, we would like to make that process as short as possible in the future. In addition, we will likely start letting everyone know the monthly themes several months in advanced so that you…[Read more]
