@daeus @kate-flournoy Well, I’m done for tonight. I wrote 602 words, which I am very happy with, seeing as I just got back into the writing writing world today, not just brainstorming and poetry.

@daeus
Ah, yes, that makes sense. I was wondering how I’d show the theme since they all forgot everything. XD On that note, another question… This book is written in first person POV present tense (for various reasons), and I’m wondering if it would still work to cut from a third person/omniscient POV scene of the government right into a first…[Read more] -

Ellow,
As you probably all know, I’ve been working on publishing recently and the news at the moment is…now I’m published!
But SHHHH! Don’t tell anyone yet. The fact is I’ll probably need another week or two before I’m completely ready to let the world know about it. One of the things I want to get done first is to change the price.
I’ve…[Read more]

So,
(First of all, I’m back! 😀 )
The antihero.
I don’t know if there’s already been a discussion on this, but the antihero has always been an interesting character type to me. (I’m planning on using an antihero in my next story.)I was just thinking, what makes an antihero so interesting? What keeps the reader compelled to read his story? How…[Read more]

@graciegirl Oh, boy. That’s a terrible feeling. Yeah, don’t worry a bit. I like getting your critique. It takes a lot to offend me.
As for the corrections, I’ll have to give them some more thought. At the moment, I’m considering replacing the current last sentence with, “In a twist of fate, he is forced to confront the shattering of everything he…[Read more]

Ok, I’m back.
@kate-flournoy @emma-flournoy @northerner @hope @winter-rose @graciegirl.
So what do you think of lingering bittersweetness?
Also, instead of saying, “forced to confront everything he fights for shattered,” do you think it would be better to say, “forced to confront everything he fights for ruined”?

Thanks! She is actually an RPG character, but this drawing was so random, I have no idea where she is or what she’s doing. =P@emma-flournoy
Thank you, glad you like! =D@kate-flournoy
Thanks! The program I use (Clip Studio Paint) comes with some premade textures, so I mix and match my own changes with those to get the look I want. M…[Read more] -

@kate-flournoy, the sewer scene wasn’t actually too bad. Go read it. It’s not as long as the Battle of Waterloo thing. Which I read, but it went completely over my head, because I don’t know anything about Waterloo except what I learned in a Classical Conversations history sentence in fourth grade, and I only remember that because it was in a…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy *GASP!* You can’t be a true Les Mis fan if you haven’t read about the sewers!
Yeah. Sure. Whatever. It’s still one of my favorites, so I can forgive you. Actually, you’re totally and 100% right, I’m just righter.
