What are you doing still awake at that time???It’s about the 1910 air race from Dover to Paris, it’s a comedy from the 60s and I found it very funny.

I’m just watching a movie and I desperately need to know if you’ve seen These Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines? I don’t like old movies that much, as you know, but I’m really enjoying this one and it seems exactly like your cup of tea.

@e-k-seaver You might not be able to make money with Traditional publishing either. There is no guarantee.
They give you an advance, yes, but you have to give that back if you don’t sell enough copies. Plus, you make SUCH a smaller percentage of every book that is sold.
On top of that, Traditional publishers just don’t promote books like they…[Read more]

sorry its taken me so long to get back to you! If you’re still interested, I have two characters you could do.
Mere is the main character from my current WIP. It’s a pirate type adventure book, and Mere is white (with a huge amount of freckles), seventeen, and has very long, very curly auburn/ginger hair. She’s a very…[Read more]

Self-publishing is vastly superior to traditional publishing.

In classics, I would 100% recommend A Tale of Two Cities (my favourite book of all time), Hard Times, and Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens. The last two are lesser known Dickens books, but so good! There’s also a BBC miniseries of Little Dorrit if you enjoy that sort of thing. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. Frankenstein, by Mary Shell…[Read more]

@scriptor-of-kingdoms
Hey there! I’ve had a lot of artists do my characters at various stages and I’d love if you wanted to draw one. Do you prefer male or female characters?

The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge is another one I really liked, though its English and less a pony story than a story that happens to have a pony in it.
I think you’ve mentioned it before but I haven’t actually listened to it! And no, I haven’t read Don Quixote. It always seemed a little weird to me and its so long that I…[Read more]

Yeah, give me Jericho over breadmaking any day 😛
Oh I love Misty of Chincoteague and all the other books by that author (I have a lot of them!) and I read The Black Stallion, and Black Beauty of course. And yep! There’s a few Aussie pony books that I loved as a child. The Silver Brumby was a great one. and I also really liked a…[Read more]

I have actually! My brother loves that movie and its very well made for a bunch of students in a makeshift studio. I find it very inspirational.
By the way, were you ever into “horse books” when you were younger? I’m just reading through the TV Tropes page Pony Tales and I’m feeling my preteen reading life flash before my eyes.

I think the Rumor Weed is one of those episodes everyone sweeps under the carpet. I honestly had completely forgotten about it until you mentioned it just then 😀
My personal favourites are Moses, Joseph, and Joshua. Those ones are very good.
Yeah, I could give it a go on the weekend 😀 I’ve got some time then 🙂

Ah no! You really need to give Veggie Tales another shot. It’s so funny, and this is coming from me, the weird Australian who doesn’t like any Christian movies.
Haha, that’s true. All the Americanism must be rubbing off on me. Or maybe I was trying to ask what you were doing. who knows!

Hello! How are you doing? It’s currently pouring down and I don’t have work so I’m using my time wisely and eating lunch while watching Veggie Tales.
