Greetings, fellow writers! With less than two weeks until NaNo officially starts, I’ve decided to forget about outlining, or finishing writing up the notes on my edits of a friend’s work, and instead come here, I hope you’re all doing better with…[Read more]

@jess Ooo good point. *goes to switch things around*
@sarah-h Great guesses for the little bit given! It actually does take place in England about 1498. Though it’s not strictly historical fiction cause I don’t know everything about that time period. Though I realized after I posted it that there’s a couple…[Read more]

@rolena-hatfield Thanks for your feedback. 🙂 I’ll work with the forth intro as the beginning and incorporate the others into the story.
@dragon-snapper Oh my goodness, you just described the mom’s backstory 🙂 The girl is the main character, so I like your idea of having the other openings as flashbacks or details in the story. Thanks!

@@r-e-p My heart goes out to you! I, too, have been battling Lyme/Toxic Black Mold (With Multiple Chemical Sensitivity mixed in). I would love to connect more! Toxic Black Mold is such a not commonly known sickness. I actually recently started a blog on both the practical things about it that I have learned, and the faith things:…[Read more]

@jess Thanks for the explanation! 🙂 I’m ignorant of how Twitter functions as I never gave a hoot about it anyway, so double thanks.
@sarah-h Hehee, thanks. 🙂 Dear me. That’s some question and one that I really can’t answer. (I never could answer favorite book questions.) However, The Midshipman Quinn books by Showell Styles are launching…[Read more]

@r-e-p Hi and Welcome! tags alert the person you want, made with an @ sign. Most people’s tags are the same as their name, for example: mine is @jess. Others, like Mallory, are different: @overcomer. Sort of like twitter. You can click on a person’s pic and their “handle” will be right under their name. I understand about the Lymes and…[Read more]

That does sound quite funny, @Jess. Good luck. 🙂
And yes, never underestimate the damage a pair of scissors can do in the hands of a child. Once one of my sisters trimmed her eyelashes. 😛Hahaha @Daeus actually her degradation was against me, not against dark hair. She was complimenting the younger sibling on being the nicest dark-haired person…[Read more]

@jess Well, it depends what you mean by terrible. I had a brother drop his spoon in the dirt, then lick it off to get it clean.
I had another brother who cut a branch half way off a tree, then tied a rope to said branch, tied the other end to his bike, and rode as hard as he could. The rope jerked tight, throwing him off his bike, and then he…[Read more]
