Inspiration<@rochellaine Ugh. Poor her. *gives Chara pizza* Make sure that this gives her more of a chance to develop as a character then! *claps happily at the character arcs.*

Inspiration<@rochellaine Yes. They are necessary. I’ve had some people get very concerned with some of my random knowledge…
Look, starving a character doesn’t bother me too much. I mean, it leaves you feel blegh, but compared to a lot of things it is kinda lucky. Compare starving to a lot of mental torture and you’ll probably feel better. Or, if you are in a controlled environment, you could try fasting for three days or something with just rations. See if you think something is too extreme or not. Just make sure people are aware and if it is too much you have food available to eat.

Glad that this may come in handy at some point, even if not right now.
@rochellaine Hmm… I’d be willing to say yes, it would still apply to someone slim. (Note: All research on these topics has been ethical and no injuries were caused by me or were prentable by me) I purely assume this because my siblings are type one diabetics, which is the genetic sort. So, my sister had actually ended up at the point where she was 14 and weighted 31kg. She then got really sick and just didn’t eat for a few days, (partly because everything was going crazy there) and she didn’t end up feeling hungry for quite a while afterwards. That may have had something to do with insulin, but my mother has gone through a similar process. But who knows really?

Inspiration<@rochellaine @seekjustice Just thinking, on this conversation about hungry after not eating and things, after about 3-7 days the body adjusts to not eating and starts burning fat instead. This would leave a person lethargic and very susceptible to illness, but after their body reaches this point it doesn’t tend to feel hunger. (No clue if that is particularly helpful in this context, but hey! *shrugs*)

Inspiration<@rochellaine @seekjustice Ack sorry! The internet crashed, but I’m back now.
Oooooh, nice snippet!
Yes, I write in 1st person present tense, but I’ve also done 1st person past and 3rd person past. I find it easier to write this way actually, it makes me feel more connected, and then I could just make them drop dead at any given point. xP But I don’t plan to do that to Connor.

Inspiration<@rochellaine Oh well! As long as you’re still enjoying the writing. And often it is hard to get back into something after a longish break. *nodnod*
My characters… are kinda in shock? Well, Connor is. And he is aware of it and trying to ignore everything and agh. *pats him*
Laura failed, and now it is left to me.
The door opens at the slight push of my fingers and I slip out, my eyes widening slightly at the shadows stretching like fingers through the halls. Hadn’t it only just been sunset before? Or have I really been back that long? I shrug inwardly and take slow steps forward, my feet making very little noise on the carpet muffled floor. As I pass every doorway a tendril of grey fog settles over my mind. Just forget about what you have to do. It’s for the best for everyone.
There’s a little snippet of my precious Connor.

Inspiration<@rochellaine Wellllll, I’ve finished all I technically need to for Camp NaNo, but I’m only about a third of the way through. *flops* My main worry is that this book seems to be looking like it will be reaching the 150k mark before edits.
How about you?
