@dekreel ooh, a series would be great as well! I know of several authors with large casts who do that.
And yes, I believe he does 😀 I think he’s taken sparring classes before. I know that a while back he wrote a really, really good article on writing realistic sword-fighting.

This might be totally wild and not right, but what about a Kapeefer civil war? Like, one side isn’t necessarily “bad;” it would be more like a capture the flag sort of thing. Like they’re competing for something…maybe to see who will get special sword-fighting lessons from King Daeus? 😉

I set an amount of words that I need to write each day. Usually, that’s 1000 words, which can be anywhere from 15 mins of writing to an hour.
