I know right? I mean no criticism to spring and summer, but winter is my all-time favorite, autumn second. I love everything about it, (I mean this winter even when it was ten below, knee-deep snow, I still loved it. Yeah,…[Read more] -

Great topic! …now I have to remember what I read last! 😆 I’m pretty sure it was The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen. My favorite thing was probably the MC, Sage’s, personality. He was street-smart and sarcastic, but also noble. My least favorite thing was the pace. A lot of the time it was super slow, with occas…[Read more]

Yes, I definitely agree about not having to read heavy material all the time. Sometimes, if I read too much heavy stuff it weighs on me and even gives me insomnia. Not that heavier books are bad, (they can teach you a lot of things), but too much of anything isn’t good.
So yeah, I too like to read a good children’s book here…[Read more]

SeekJustice replied to the topic If you got to be a screen writer for a movie, what type of movie would it be? in the forum Topic of the Week 5 years, 1 month ago
@kathleenramm Definitely a historical movie! Not so much a period drama (not like in the style of any of the Jane Austen/Jane Eyre/romance movies) but more like a biopic (or those movies that aren’t about real people but kind of have the biopic style), I guess. I’ve always dreamed of making a movie about the Wright Brothers in particular! There’s…[Read more]

Interesting question! The last book I read was The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson, which I finished yesterday! I think my favourite thing was how fleshed out the two main characters (Vin and Kelsier) were! I loved reading about them and rooting for them!
My least favourite thing was how long it was. That put me off reading it f…[Read more]

THANK YOU SO MUCH TOO!!!
(Curse that all caps button for being such a temptation to use all the time XD ).
Seriously though, I appreciate it:) Yeah, the boat ride was awkward, (but surprisingly extremely fun to write). It’s hilarious/sometimes sweet/frustrating when they bicker and get at each other because I know that they will…[Read more] -

I understand exactly what you mean. I can write a fifty-word dialogue exchange, then mull over it for a half-hour wondering all the ways I could edit it. So yep, NaNoWriMo is a nice break from editing:)

So as I said, I probablyÂ
monologuetalk/intro some about my five primary characters a bit.The protagonist of TSW is Mejia, (whom I still have to invent a Russian variant of that name for *sigh*…)
She is right up there in the top characters for complicated/tragic pasts and one of the strongest characters of TSW. She is a sixteen-year-old…[Read more] -

Precisely! And that’s true, I guess that when the good things happen to them, it’s even better because of how much it will contrast to them suffering, (*puts hands up in defense as my characters glare at me*).
*Whew* I’m glad it wasn’t un-legible. I love wolves too, and they fit in pretty nicely Birch Woods. Thank you incredibly…[Read more] -
