It’s fun! I get my birthday presents under the Christmas tree, I never have to do school, and my dad doesn’t have to work! Additionally, I love peppermint, and it’s easy to find peppermint stuff for my cake this time of year. -

Okay, so right now some of the votes are tied so Kefa and I decided to extend the deadline to the 3rd, so please vote. We’ll release the results around then and hopefully have the next chapter out within the next few weeks.

@stephie yesss that happens too sometimes, but less commonly.
also cool Italian writing on your signature. My mom loves that language.
@hybridlore thanks!! I guess my parents didn’t have great relationships with their siblings until they were all older so they were like “you guys should learn to like each other young so you’ll have each…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle wow! What an ending! I loved the descriptions of the different soldiers’ uniforms and stuff for some reason, and I’m so glad you didn’t kill them off. (I agree with @hybridlore that them dying would’ve worsened the book; it would’ve felt like Aaron’s story all over again. Speaking of which, I’m glad you brought the topic of him…[Read more]

No, not harsh at all! This is perfect!
Not sure how many illustrations yet. I think I have 20 for the last one.
Your guess has been noted, but no answers will be given.
Thank you so much!

Wow! This is soooo helpful!
Hmm, I find it funny that you think the ending thing feels a little un-realistic. I wrote it after reading of five different situations in different countries where something like this happened to Believers who had been arrested. XD
I guess the Bible is correct when it says God moves in mysterious…[Read more]

Lucky, you had a party! Only the one brother stayed up with me. Everyone else went to bed. I beat said brother two times at A Little Wordy 😃, and then we spammed each other with weird dancing penguin gifs.

The hours passed, but there was little dread in them for Joseph. Beric slept most of the time, and when Joseph laid a hand against the boy’s forehead, he found it was still hot with fever. His own eyes burned, and he was sure Stephen was little better.

Happy Almost New Year! I’m staying up till midnight,Â
which I normally do anyway, and playing a game with my brother. My family just watched A Christmas Story for the first time, so that was fun! Are you making any New Year’s resolutions this year? I’m working on my list. -

Yes, it’s supposed to be fictionalized early church. I read Foxes Book of Martyrs, The Martyrs Mirror, and Acts before I wrote these, so I draw a lot out of those. In fact, a lot of the situations are real from real people’s accounts.
Some I wrote, some are old, old hymns from the underground church.
