(Explanation: Mel didn’t end up at the maze entrance like everyone else because she got there using her own world’s magic, and wasn’t kidnapped by the maze’s magic. I don’t think the crystal orbs will work on her. Also, the door she came through is still there, and any character can use it, but it will just take them to an old lady’s backyard…[Read more]

Melissa Thompson
Mel’s great aunt Tina had several strange and interesting things in her backyard. She was what Melissa’s mom called a “hoarder”. She had always said it like it was a bad thing, but Mel liked that word. It made her think of dragons and piles of hidden treasures.
She stood before one of those treasures now. It was a tall wood…[Read more]

@theducktator I’m going to add a second character in a few minutes, so if you want, there’s someone Ayla can meet

Felicity
“…Planet?” Felicity’s mind spun as she tried to process everything she just heard. She had hoped finding out where Huntress was from would help figure out where they currently were. Instead she was just more confused.
She felt her frustration bubbling up again, and she pushed it back down, forcing herself to take a deep…[Read more]

Huntress
“So, where are you from?” Felicity asked as the two of us navigated the maze.
The fog was getting lighter. I debated testing out my camouflage here, but didn’t want to startle my new traveling companion.
“I’m from the Systemic Republic.” I explained. “Specifically the planet Lygon in the outer edges of the system. I was b…[Read more]

I don’t have anything going on then, but I’m sick right now. Ideally I’m better by Saturday, but if I’m a wreck, I won’t be there.

I might be able to make that! I haven’t been able to go to most of them so I’m not sure I’m on the list for a email link or not

@ellette-giselle ohh okay.
Maybe change it to say “heavy fines” so that it’s clear this is a weighty sentence.

large fines could leave a family destitute and starving. Public retribution could be anything, including baring them from work or places of business or physical punishment.

For sheltering and fraternizing with these men, the punishment is fines and public retribution.
Seems a little….light of a punishment for dealing with what they believe are religious heretics.
But who am I to know that, you’ve probably done a ton more research.

Hehe, magic
Barnes
For the first time since she had entered the maze, Barnes shivered. She touched the plaster wall, which looked out of place in the foliage, and traced the faint remainder of poster paper stuck to it.
“I know this wall,” she murmured to herself.
After a few minutes of aimless pacing, coming up to the…[Read more]

*blink* they have those?
BUT WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME BEFORE!!!!! *SOBS*
I guess I never stopped to think there might be such simple things on line. I mostly just use it when I have something super crazy complicated.

The Protector—Gabriel
Gabriel sighed. The night seemed peaceful so far. No direwolf howl, only one monster attack, and as long as they avoided the purple vines and didn’t climb the walls, they didn’t have to worry much so far. He watched Cassius’s and Leander’s sleeping forms, wondering about childhood. After a c…[Read more]
