BTW @kate-flournoy, is that video clip from a short??? Cause I think I’ve seen it and it was soooo good. 😀

We need to have a doctor on staff when Tessa’s asleep and I’m not qualified.
It’s weird to have someone write that you’re asleep. Anyway I’m here. Definitely green. But only the alien will stay green @daeus. It is quite normal, although I think @kate-flournoy to it to another level, for someone to turn green when sick with shock. So @hope, you…[Read more]

@hannah-olsen hey there! Welcome to KP!!!
If you don’t mind my asking, whereabouts in Northern Idaho are you? We can’t be too far away from each other; I’m just a little west of Spokane. 🙂 And wow. Coffee, chocolate, and historical fiction? We’d get along well. 🙂 I’ve been to China, also; 9 years ago (I was 9). We stayed there for 2 weeks while…[Read more]

@bluejay Sounds like you already have it figured out. But just to throw my two cents in, I once knew a cat who could open doors. Literally. Not even kidding.

@faithdk That’s funny. *writes that into word document of future stories to write* Seriously I can already picture it too. 😛

@faithdk thanks for dropping in. 🙂 I think I’ll end up putting a tree in, just because it is a story for children. I might make it a bit easier for a child to visualize.

Awwwwww…..thanks @kate-flournoy you just made my day. *wipes happy tears with a tissue*
Do you think she needs a tree near the house to get down? I know cats can drop and land on their feet, but would it be better for her to climb down? Would that be nicer for a child to hear/read? -

@daeus Congrats. That’s a great idea. Maybe I should do that too…
@kate-flournoy I know, I’m so relieved to have solved it. Head back to the topic at the missing cats and tell me if my idea would work. (and you too @daeus) -

With much thinking of myself as a cat 🙂 I have decided that the attic is the best option. So this is how it works.
Matt takes a load of empty boxes to the attic and leaves the door open. Missy, curious cat, enters and when Matt returns he doesn’t see her due to the boxes. He dumps the next load and shuts the door. Missy is trapped. But a small…[Read more] -

@kate-flournoy and @daeus I got lots done. I’m not sure how many words exactly as I have been all over the place in my story but I got it all sorted out. I had some major problems in it. Time was the main issue, but that’s all done. *Very happy*

*the doctor arrives and groans loudly* @daeus you need to keep your hands away from @kate-flournoy. She gets very into the mood of stamping and slamming things and doesn’t look out for hands on paper.

It’s suppose to be a children’s story. @daeus. Otherwise that might have worked. 🙂 🙂 🙂

@sarah-h. Nope no cat flap and I didn’t want to do that as in story 2 Chaos gets of the house that way.
@kate-flournoy – Haha yes I have read that book. So had Missy (the cat) so she decided it was safer not too. I like the one about the screen door. That is a big possibility. The house doesn’t have an attic.
@vanna The cat has got to be grown…[Read more] -

@adry_grace The trouble is the family doesn’t leave. There is no mention of it. It is night time and their all tired, so I guessing they’d just go to bed.
I’ve been trying to think all night, but every time I come up with an idea, I end up knocking it back. 😛 -

Ok this is really embarrassing but I’ve got a major problem. I’m writing a story about a cat who gets lost. The family have just moved in to their new house, so it’s not unusual for a cat to go missing. They tend to try to get back to the old house. Don’t ask me why, but they do. *it’s a cat thing* But how did she get out of the house? She had…[Read more]
