@kathleenramm I bought it at Barnes and Nobles, because my library didn’t have it, sadly. I think it was the first manga I actually bought. I’ve seen the live action too, but not the anime yet. What did you like about it?

@calidris Yess it’s always like that for me even though I dictate the outline they still do their own thing in each scene. And at this point the depressing endings are plentiful.

Yep, my characters are all their own beings now. I rarely plot them beforehand, and sometimes I’m surprised by how different than I thought they would be.

@calidris Samee I feel your pain. Usually I just make it up as I go along and don’t plot anything. It’s a ride.

Stakes you say? So the current book I’m working on is bk three in a series.

Book one, my character’s decisions revolved around loosing friends and finding family, or fighting for friends and postponing the search for family. Pretty basic.

I’m expecting a laptop in November, and it is exiting 😀 I have done a few rough digital sketches, but after getting hallway through, I realized its hard to do digital art with an art pad hooked up to my family’s early 2000’s model pc system. Lol. I don’t think that’s too embarrassing. When I was like, nine, I “saved” a bird by chasing it across the street, into my neighbor’s yard, through a fence, and into tomato bushes, finally capturing it and returning that little baby ROBIN to a MORNING DOVE’S nest. It didn’t thank me.
