@Hope I really like Crowned Powerless. I don’t know; it just sounds fierce and final. 😉 And I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing if you have a title that is the same as another book’s title. As long as it fits the story. 🙂

Writing a book so far is a confusing but fun process. The hardest part for me perhaps is to not overthink everything. I want it all to be perfect, but a perfect first draft is unrealistic, and not a very writer healthy hope …
Goodness, you said it! I struggle with the same thing. I want to make everything perfect in the first draft, and I w…[Read more]

I like the Final Clash, and honestly, I like “Legend of the Shield.” I know you must have had reasons for renaming the book, but those are the ones I like. Sorry, I’m probably not being helpful. :/ Let me see if I can think of any other titles…
What about “Legend of the Clashing Shield?” Or maybe “The Clash of Kingdoms?” I don’t know… -

@Emma-flournoy It’s not a problem! I’m not the best at responding in a…timely manner. 😉
What are some of your favorite books (someone probably asked you that already but anyway)? -

*sneaks in* *peeks at topic* Hey… @Daeus, sorry I didn’t respond for the last couple weeks! I was gone for the first week, and I was really busy last week…
So back to Animal Farm. I think one of the areas that Orwell really does well is foreshadowing. In the beginning of the book, he puts in subtle warnings that the animal characters don’t…[Read more] -

Hmm…I want to write at least half of my novel this summer. That might not be realistic because I have a lot going on this summer, but we’ll see. 🙂

@kate-flournoy I’d have to second what @daeus said. It would have been a great title, though (if Robert Frost hadn’t titled his poem “The Road Not Taken” 😉 ). You still have some great title ideas, though. Don’t give up yet! 🙂

@Hope I KNOW! I don’t cry when reading books or watching movies much at all. But I was bawling at the end of Wingfeather Saga. :'(
@zoe-wingfeather JANNER WAS THE BEST CHARACTER EVER!!! *sobs*
@winter-rose Hmm, I don’t know. I think I liked the second book, too, because I loved the Fork Factory part. -
Greta replied to the topic Where do you live? in the forum General Writing Discussions 9 years, 9 months ago
@winter-rose Yay! I’m from Ohio, too. And I didn’t know that about the Avengers. Pretty cool.
@Hope Funny, Ohio’s state bird is the cardinal, too. 😉 😛 -

@Hope I don’t know about Bible Verses, but one I really like is:

@Hope Yeah, I see what you mean.
I just finished the Wingfeather Saga (@zoe-wingfeather). It. Was. Amazing. As for the ending, I thought it was really powerful and moving, even though…*sobs* And I agree with what you all have been saying about the ending. I wish Andrew Peterson had added a little more to the end so that the reader could find…[Read more] - Load More
