I’ll start a post somewhere on CEW for KPers. I’d like to know who wants to join!
Additionally we should tag some more people so they are aware of this. I can explain anything people need to know.
@koshka @loopylin @mineralizedwritings @freed_and_redeemed @stephie @linus-smallprint @keilah-h @godlyfantasy12 @euodia-vision (did I get that tag…[Read more]

Ohhhhh! Now I remember him! My bad—I thought Leon had recognized him.

I didn’t get tagged for the last section, so I read them both today. I like it a lot. Linus (?) was right, it was time to go back into the cities. Sad for all those at the University. I like how you showed a threat to the church besides the Soldiers—a threat from the inside. And I’m guessing Andreas is also a former fighter that…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon
Thank you! And I’m glad the examples made sense to someone besides me. The characters must be protected not only for themselves, but for the sake of story legacy. ⚔️Too hesitant to kill off characters who probably should actually die for the plot/ their own arc.
Some people are definitely more like that. I fall…[Read more]

Oh yeah, I just remembered. I discussed this with another book-reading friend, and that’s why it was in my mind.

This morning, a list of thoughts suddenly popped into my head. I don’t know why. Maybe because I’ve been reading more books lately. :-]
It’s easy to think a reader’s negative response to a character death is ultimately good. You want them to feel a gut punch, right? You want them to be angry, right? You want them to cry, right? I cannot deny this…[Read more]

Yeahh xD If I had stopped to think about it, I probably would have expected something to happen with it.
Oh yeah. Thanks for the reminder. XD

I do remember Julian talking to Ernst about his father, if that’s what you’re talking about. Nice to get a glimpse into his state of mind before… well…

Oh no. 😭 Poor Rolf.
I really liked this section… even though it was sad. You did a good job with the action and tying in Lieutenant Roth’s story to the main plot.

I hesitate because I reeeaaallllyy need to get back into writing/editing. But… that week is leading up to my brother’s graduation and I’m in the homestretch for my schoolwork and life has just been busy and I need time to just chill. Anyway… I also really really want to sign up for CEW still…. 😭 I am just being indecisiv…[Read more]

I might go to college! I’m choosing to take an extra year of classes by myself, a super senior year. But it’s optional and I’m doing it to choose specific interests and decide if I want to pursue them or not.
Plus I need time to learn more practical life skills, grow healthy, etc.

You don’t have to do it this year. But I will tell everyone who doesn’t have their own to-edit material that CEW actually supplies a bunch of stuff to edit if you need it. I’ll use some of their material myself. 🙂

That’s good that they’ll be more distinguishable— but I hope that doesn’t mean they’ll drift apart.
Yeah xD It would be interesting. It was a sweet scene though.

I liked the transition right at the scene break before Liesl and Roland got married. And how you showed Leon’s state of mind after the fever and how Julian didn’t understand it.
