Thanks!
Y’know I kinda agree? I think it’s because he looks good with the blank eyes, he’s a undead fae in the game he’s from so it fits the vibe lol. I’ll give him pupils later though. -

Ok so, she had an appointment/meeting with the doctors on Thursday, and there they decided that the next course of action is surgery. I don’t think this is removal of the tumor, it’s just to check her lymph nodes and make sure the can…[Read more]

Lucille
Lucy slowly let go of the vine and walked a few paces, studying the way forward.
Ahead of them was a narrow path with arches over it – an overgrown arbor. Yellow roses and leaves grew so thick that the wood beams were almost completely hidden, like furniture draped in a golden blanket. The leaves fluttered in the breeze,…[Read more]

“Speaking of, I’m starved.”
The wall ended. Lucy found one of the vines tangled on the top, a thick silver tendril, and hacked at it with her hatchet. One end of it fell to the ground, and she slid down it like a drainpipe.
She looked up at Mel, holding the vine steady. “So you didn’t get taken?”

“Outer fields.” Lucy stopped to help Mel over an extra large mound of vines. “Do you know how to get back to Colorado?”

“…That way.” Lucy pointed. She stood up and began awkwardly walking along the top of the wall, arms and jacket winging out. “Are you lost too?”

Just throwing out another suggestion, how about 3-ish PM Central tomorrow? Or on Feb 7, since Ducktator can’t do the 31.
If 11 on either of those dates works better, great!

Dante would not survive twenty minutes there.
Why do I feel like the characters are going to crash-land there? It’ll be an episode of a tv show where it’s Dante’s POV and he’s absolutely miserable
The natives are Lemonhead’s species (still no name). They invented space travel first. It’s also the only planet with rings like Sat…

Well that makes sense. Especially because Liko has the design and skills of someone who belongs to a technologically or at least extra-able advanced group. What are Fainne and Gicel like?

Oooo, utopia. I’ve always been kind of interested in those but they’re rarely explored in books or media because dystopias are more appealingly edgy. If they’re the first planet to be visited and the third to develop the technology, does that mean space travel is pretty easy for them? Like moreso than for other planets’ inhabitants?

“We were looking for a way out of the maze. He was helping me and – hm, well, maybe I wasn’t helping him any. I don’t know where I am now.”
The hedges grew in the typical labyrinthian fashion, but Lucy knew better than to think Gabriel was nearby. The plants themselves were different – the moss more emerald and the leaves less…[Read more] - Load More
