Well now I have a headache and a sad scene on my hands. Tsk, tsk. Must move on to something cheerful.

Popping on to work for a while, starting at :15. I have a headache from sickness recovery, but hopefully I can write without having to look at the screen of my computer.

Thanks, dude! I’m using a classical painting for color reference and it’s going surprisingly well. (In a simplified kind of way.)

Aiming for @loopylin ‘s questions first until I can think about the other ones. XD
What’s one place you’ve never been to, but have always wanted to visit?
“There is an abandoned boat on an island north of our shores. My cousin told me it was a sad place, and he never recommended the location to our steamboat tours. Probably because it was out of…[Read more]

People may not agree with me, but I’ve lived it and it works. It is refreshing. It is power! IT IS LIFE!!!

No, they haven’t traveled far enough for that to be a thing yet. So far they are all heading in the same direction together. That’s how I ended the last book. I can add some reminders though.
Ok, sounds good!
They actually left before that happened. (I said that in the last book) so they had no idea what even happened in the Cap…

Yes, it was quite fun. :p Although I slept in for a while after.
Did you go with anyone?
I went with my friends. Half of us had partners, but the other half just wanted wholesome group dancing. It was a good mix.

@freed_and_redeemed
The hurried navigation through the pews is all too real, lol.The brunette shrugged.
This is the feminine version of a french word, so unless I’m misunderstanding who is speaking here – I think it’s Riker – this should be brunet. Same difference between blonde and blond.

I like it where it is as it is sort of the first rush of the downhill slide we’re about to hit.
Oh no.

🤦🏼♀️
It’s the gang, y’all. The same gang from last book. The same gang we left at the end of the last book and are now picking up and the beginning of the next.
Do I really gotta remind the reader?
In the previous books in the series, the POV characters switched every time. Especially with the way that you left off the last boo…[Read more]

Guys, I felt the need to say this because of the school dance we’ve waited for, for two+ years. I am at prom right now – right now – and it’s pretty fun.

Vyette: What kinds of hairstyles do you usually wear? What is your best subject in school, and does school really matter because of your birth privilege? Who are you closest to? Do you and your father disagree about more than just marriage?
*squints at Barnes* I seem to remember her getting drunk in front of her crush…

And share some of it… I love your style.
Yayy, maybe I’ll do that. If there’s something to show. I’ve been drawing a lot of one character, but I’m drawing her without her mask and I’d like to keep the mystery going until I feel confident with the design. It’s difficult to stick with one drawn version of a character.

Barnes
A couple times, students wandered to the edge of the field. Barnes fixed them with a deliberate stare, tapping her wrist to indicate they wouldn’t be restricted forever.
Another kid ran up from the school entrance. This kid was paler than the others, with tufts of light hair glaring in…[Read more]
