I just got return of the king! I think I’m on chapter 3 or 4.
It’s ok, you don’t have to be a fan. I only like them when they’re written well, and I’m looking forwards to seeing Tolkien’s example XD because I know he writes better than most authors these days.

I know Eowyn isn’t instantly likeable, but I don’t really mind. I feel like in lotr the characters are each living their own lives outside of the story, and having some of them grate a little makes them seem more like…[Read more]
