@Ethryndal Oops. 😛

You’ve reason be proud. Good shading adds so much, and impromptu?! 🙂

@Daeus @Adry_Grace Thanks. So then, the definition ‘anti-hero’ does not mean someone who is anti hero—against the hero in the story—but it means, anti hero—not like a hero in character. Right?
I agree, Adry Grace—the flaws they have should be shown as such. As with any character, really. 😉

Daeus this probably has a very obvious answer,…[Read more]

@Adry_Grace Yeah, that is weird. It happened to me a few days ago on the Les Mis thread, but I was able to post it later. I got the notification by e-mail—here’s what you said:

@emma-flournoy That’s a good thought.

I do not think that a hero is NECESSARY to an antihero. I think an antihero can function just as well as a character without a…

@Jason

My novel is fantasy, but my stories tend to be very character driven (as appose to plot driven)

*serious nod* That sounds very good. 🙂 I usually like character driven stories better than plot driven ones.

@Widdrim Hey! Glad to have you.
Read any Tolkien? How ’bout Les Miserables?

@Jane-Maree Um…piano for about 5 years, and violin for about 3? I think that’s right. 😛 Which instrument have you been playing for the longest?

Guy, all of these!! Wow. I hope someday some of you are going to enter art contests.

@Ethryndal That picture of Dallan! XD
I’d definitely see him with more of a mean and self-centered sneering expression than that drawing has, but hey, if he was nice, maybe he’d have that happy sort of face! 😀
And the drawing itself…the SHADING! It’s so real.

@widdrim Obi-Wan is my favorite in the prequels, and Han Solo is mine in the originals.
I’ve been playing for six months or so now… 😛 But I’ve been playing guitar for 2-4 years.
@graciegirl Ah, I’ve seen Rogue One as well.

@kate-flournoy Glad you like it! 😛
*goes to find new profile pic*

@kate-flournoy well, I just made it my profile pic. He’s been cropped quite a bit… 😛

@kate-flournoy Well, I drew Handil, but can’t figure how to get him on here…what is a URL?

@widdrim My favorite era…probably the originals, with Luke and Leia, though I did enjoy the Force Awakens thoroughly. I asked if you liked Star Wars because every time I read “Hello There”, I see Obi-Wan Kenobi, dropping from the ceiling and into the midst of a gazillion clankers. Then there’s General Greivous, “General Kenobi.” 😛

@Jason Greetings!
Trust me when I say this: you will learn sooo much about writing here. I’ve been writing for three years, but I’ve learned so much more of the ‘dynamics’ from when I joined. It’s great!

@jane-maree *tries to think of some uncliche way to say hi but can’t* Ah…Hi….
This might work better. HIIIIIIII!!!! Welcome to the bestistest…well, they beat me to it. I’ll follow the rules for once.
Four instruments! I play guitar and piano, a little bit of celtic whistle, and would love to play cello. However, high school. How do you…[Read more]

@widdrim Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet! Yay, I win!
Was instrument do you play? I do piano and guitar, though I’d love to add to that list.
You wouldn’t happen to be Star Wars nerd, would you? 😀

@Jane-Maree Wow.
I just play violin and piano. 😛

Btw, hello @Willow-Wispowing, good ta meet ya. *wrings hand crazily*

Hello @Jane-Maree! I’ve seen you on comment sections or something before. Welcome to the forum. 🙂
What instrument do you play?
