I totally agree! There’s nothing wrong with writing the occasional bad or deceased parent of course, but it seems like every book I read (and even more so with tv shows) has a bunch of characters with parent issues.

Wow, that scene was so cool!! Ara has slowly become more and more interesting as a character the more I read about her. Your style in this scene kinda reminded me of the Book Thief. (Just a little bit. The style is still unique to you.) Have you ever read it?

@freedomwriter76 No, I was thinking that most of the characters would run away in different directions, forming the smaller groups. Some of them can stay and fight though, if you want. I’m not sure I know what you mean by disappear?
