So, remember a few KP newsletter contest back, when it was the girl holding up the Wonderland hitchhiking sign? Well, I wrote an entry for that, but unfortunately didn’t turn it in in time. But I have been thinking about turning it into a short story. Problem is, I really like what I’ve written, I just can’t think of a beginning, a background for…[Read more]

@Jane-Maree Ahh! Yes. I understand what you mean now. WordPress comments would be like @Ethryndal‘s or K. M. Weiland’s correct? I have noticed the replying to comments gets formatted in a weird-ish way. You mean with how long and narrow they get I assume?

Hello!
One of my homework projects for our homeschool co-op is to write a short story that follows the Hero’s Journey pattern. (Is anyone familiar with the Hero’s Journey?)
Anyway, I would love to have someone beta read it and get some feedback. The assignment is due next…[Read more]

@ethryndal @aratrea Hahahahaha!!!!!! I was laughing so hard I’m surprised my family didn’t come to see if I was ok! That picture is so perfect! I love it!
@daeus Yes, the caption, just yes. You guys seriously made my day. 🙂 -

I’m always uncharacteristically talkative on the internet. Rather quiet as an actual–Introverted-person, though.
@aratrea I think my favorite part of @ethryndal‘s drawing is the frog on your head. Honestly.

@aratrea I was surprised when Hope told me you put it on facebook and that you were an ‘I’. I’m an ‘E’ and I’d never had the courage to post a picture like that that someone did of me for the public to see.
‘Kay, so now who wants to draw King Daeus with his raspberry ice cream? @ethryndal?

@emma-flournoy No. @ethryndal drew it and I just applied effects.

@graciegirl I played “Solitude” several years ago, but that’s it. I like to compose my own songs in the style of David Nevue and Brian Crain, and I also play a couple composed by Dario Marianelli for P&P (please don’t label me as a Austen nerd, or someone who wants to marry Mr. Darcy. He actually kind of bothers me, though I do enjoy Miss…[Read more]

@ETHRYNDAL remember I wailed on this thread that Thorin didn’t have the Arkenstone with him in the funeral-ish scene? On page 3. But we finished watching BotFA a little bit ago, and HE DID HAVE IT! It was on him; he was sort of holding it. Peter Jackson, I apologize for yelling about that. I was wrong. It was THERE INDEED! This makes me so…[Read more]

Sup, y’all?
Yes, ’tis me yet again, and I am here for another dose of writerly wisdom. What can I say? You guys are too helpful for your own good.
As you probably guessed from my horribly clichéd thread title, I am currently in a debate with myself about whether or not it would be in my best interests to start a blog. I have mulled on it for…[Read more]

@aratrea I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU ACTUALLY DID IT EITHER!!!!! I feel famous for being the inspiration behind her masterpiece.
@ethryndal Maybe I will try and put it up just to see how it compares. I’ve always been horrible at drawing guys though, I’m much better with girls.

@ethryndal It actually grows on me the more I see it. Looking like a Russian novelist has always been a partial-dream of mine. 😀
@anne-of-lothlorien This will probably just be temporary, but I’ll at least do it for a week. 😉

@Emma-Flournoy AAAAAHHHHH! I KNOW!!! *accidentally runs into you mid spin and we both go tumbling to the floor* I keep fluctuating between “THIS IS SO NEAT!” and “Whoa. Is this real?” I nearly choked when I read it. *GLITTER* *MORE GLITTER* *DROWNS THE ROOM IN GLITTER* Woot!
*tries her best not to look sappy* Aww, you’re so sweet. 🙂
*sits up happily in sea of glitter* Yeah, that’s what I felt like when I saw mine. 😀
DAH, I’m so glad you got on KP and all the STUFFS SARAH. *flails* What I might have missed. God is too amazing for my tiny brain to comprehend.
*dumps more glitter on your head and jumps in with you* WE CAN BE SUPERHEROES TOGETHER!!! Now I just need to hunt down whoever said it and bestow Elven blessings upon them. Because honestly, that was so nice of them. I can’t get over it. I posted an activity comment about it, but really, who’s going to answer that? (And for some reason, whenever I…[Read more]

@Ethryndal I’m sorry. 😀 I thought you were hinting there that I’d done it—hinting ever so subtly. I beg your pardon.

@Emma-Flournoy OH. Now I get it. Sorry, I had a brain dead moment. It happens to me occasionally.
Yeah, them poor athiests. They just need to read God’s Smuggler. *launches into insane cackling and rubbing of hands* That ought to fix ’em. 😀
@Ethryndal Eh, happens to everyone. 😀
Them POOR little dears. (Sobbin’ buckets of tears.)
Great, now I’m going to be humming Sobbin’ Women the rest of the day.
@Ethryndal *careless shrug* It happens. 😀
