Great! I’m always here if you want to bounce more ideas. I love listening to ideas and helping form plots. 😉

You’re welcome! I love children’s writing, and am thrilled to see someone else here on KP showing interest. Most writers here, if you’ve noticed, write either romance or YA. Not that those aren’t genres that desperately need good books, they’re just not where my passion lies. *Shrug*

There are many books that impacted me as a kid, but I’m just going to say Freddy the Pig. They are my comfort books now, and I’ve loved them since I was 6. There’s always at least 3 plot lines going on, and the characters are hilarious and full of personality. They also tie in a lot of what were then current events, like in one, the a…[Read more]

Hey @esther-c !
Children’s literature is a precious genre!
Let’s see if I can figure out some answers from my own experience as a very young bookworm and aspiring writer of a children’s novel.

*Stumbles in through window*
Did I hear Children’s fiction? Middle-grade literature?
*Deep if wobbly curtsey*

Hmm, this looks intresting.
Okay, I can fix the mom problem and giving up Audrey in one swing.
Audrey’s mom was killed by the bad-guys.
Now her dad is super freaked out that Audrey will be hurt as well, so he gives her up.
(Now, I don’t think giving up the Child God gave to you is ever a good option, but if that’s how your…[Read more]

Hi guys I have some Bucky art. I drew it but I heavily used a panel from the comics as a reference and stole the colors from it lol. It’s traditional inking and digital colors.

A crash sounded, and Percival bolted awake. He leapt to his feet and reached for his sword, scanning the room. It appeared he was in a castle, judging by the stone walls, and red carpet beneath him. Castle! Lord Damien’s castle! “Come out and face me like…[Read more]
