I got an email about something called Crazy Writing Week. It looks fun. Does anyone here know what that is?

Okay….
I have come to a decision lol
I’m keeping the prologue the same, but I’m tweaking a few things with the beginning.
Here’s the new first chapter (it opens when Sef is sixteen years old) Don’t worry, I’m going to edit it and…[Read more]

Ok, thanks.
Shattered… fragments.
Thoughts… broken.
What? Why?
Memories whirl.
Voices, who?
Flashes, noise, tears.
Why?
Louder, louder! So many, too many. Never… end.
Could it… end?
Fragments. Pieces. Shattered. Tiny, big, scathing.
Guilt. Much guilt.
Never end. Only noise.
Too many. Sleep.…

Hello everyone again! I am going to be taking another “break” from KP! But it isn’t going to be exactly the same. I am trying to unplug for winter break and I will take out my computer to…[Read more]

Three Ducks in a Trench Coat replied to the topic How Many MCs/POV Characters Is Too Many? in the forum Characters 5 months ago
It’ll probably be longer than 60k, but I’m not sure yet. The 11 MC one can probably have some made into side characters, but the 6 MC one I think will all still be main characters.
Ah, yes. Groups following irrelevant plot threads. Another thing I did in my last novel attempt.😅 I shall definitely try to avoid that this…[Read more]

Koshka replied to the topic Do you celebrate Christmas? in the forum Mission, Calling & Ethics 5 months ago
Ah. That makes sense. We have turkey and ham for both, so we have dressing at both.

Koshka replied to the topic Do you celebrate Christmas? in the forum Mission, Calling & Ethics 5 months ago
So, does your family have dressing or stuffing (or neither)?
We usually have cornbread dressing, although we have family up north who have stuffing, and I like both. The debates over which is better are fun to listen to.

Koshka replied to the topic Do you celebrate Christmas? in the forum Mission, Calling & Ethics 5 months ago
Really? My family usually has a more traditional Christmas dinner with cornbread dressing, potatoes, turkey, ect. But we did barbeque one year with extended family, and enchiladas another.
I’m born and raised Texan, and yeah. Tamales especially are definitely a holiday food here. Although that doesn’t mean we don’t eat them year round,…[Read more]

Yeah, on nearly everything I’ve found on Christmas the stuff is regurgitated that Christmas is all pagan and completely stolen, but then when you look to objections to that, the evidence against it is much more substantial.
That sounds like a great way to celebrate Christmas.
I honestly don’t understand why…

Koshka replied to the topic Do you celebrate Christmas? in the forum Mission, Calling & Ethics 5 months ago
Random side note because I did recently find this out. Easter is mentioned in the KJV Bible (Acts 12:4), but it was an incorrect/imperfect translation. Most other translations use Passover.
We also have a new tradition where we eat a different cuisine for dinner on the three(?) nights leading up to Christmas.
That’s awesome. A lot of…[Read more]

@liberty lol. I have 52 snowballs as of the last count.

@ellette-giselle Glad you liked it! This is probably the closest thing to a romance plot that I’ve written. (Instead of it being a small side plot.)

Trailblazer replied to the topic Do you celebrate Christmas? in the forum Mission, Calling & Ethics 5 months ago
My blunt and honest opinion? I think Christians who choose not to celebrate Christmas are living from a place of religion and not relationship with God, where it has become more about what you do and don’t do than truly living with Jesus. That’s a blanket statement, and I’m sure it doesn’t apply to everyone- if God has genuinely…[Read more]

OK. There won’t be as many more scenes from this story that I’ll share, but here you go. Its 95o words should render me free from all residual snowball debts I owe.
