Who is your Favorite Sidekick? What Made You Like Them So Much?
Well, I’m not sure if anybody else’s answer will be able to compete because, who can be a better sidekick than Samwise Gamgee? The best sidekick of all time?Sam is great in the LotR movies, but the book is where his character really shines. In the books you can see all the things he…[Read more]

A THOUSAND YEARS since you’ve had a Chocolate Crinkle cookie? Well if that’s not the saddest statement I have heard in the past four years, I don’t know what is. What does your sister do with all the Crinkle Cookies she bakes? She’s obviously not giving them to you. You don’t happen to have a pet phoenix do you? Man, do those things…[Read more]

I burst out laughing immediately after reading your answer @not-so-secret-secret-assassin ‘s. I must say, it’s nice to have you back. I feel safer when I know where you are.XD
I like your choice. I feel like some amazing stories would be written there. Have you ever been to one of those countries that you mentioned?

A personal spy eh? I had one of those in the past, until he just coincidentally disappeared one day. And no, I had nothing to do with it. Why would you ask such a thing?
Anyway…
I have no doubt that all of your favorite protagonists are quite formidable, however I’m sorry to say that I have never watched any of those films…[Read more]

I would like to write somewhere deep and dark. Like a deep and dark cave. Why? ‘Cause I feel ALIVE down here.

Butterscotch blondies? Okay, I’ll take one of those. *joins the outstretched hands* Do you happen to have any chocolate peanut butter no-bake cookies? I really could go for one of those right now. Not being ungrateful or anything. Just sayin’. No, don’t look so offended! I love your butterscotch blondies. They’re great. I just… like…[Read more]

Who is your Favorite Protagonist? What Made you Like them so Much?
Now before I say what my answer is, let me just remind you that the question says favorite not best. XDMy favorite since I was 10 is Percy Jackson. Part of it may be nostalgia, but nonetheless he is my answer. I really like that no matter what book he was in, he has a clear goal…[Read more]

I, too, think that this classifies as a historical fiction.
And yeah, since it’s a political novel about adults, I think it would be geared more towards adults. Whether the demographic is adult men or women depends on the content of the book rather than the main character. Since most of the books I read are about men, and I know some…[Read more]

Very well put @gracie-j ! I whole heartedly agree. It’s not necessarily the evil in the book that makes it “not Christian” but the light that the evil act is portrayed in. Making sure that the overall message in your story is good and Christ focused and that evil is shown as being indeed evil and has consequences.

I agree with about the beach! There is nothing like being in the middle of the ocean with deep blue water unfolding in beautiful waves as far as the eye can see. But however as much I like the ocean, I don’t think I’d be able to write there. At least not Florida beaches. In the summer the sand burns your feet and the water boils you…[Read more]

What is your Ideal Writing Spot?
My dream writing spot would be high in a tree deep in a lavish green forest next to a creek in the spring. Now wait! Before you roll your eyes at me hear me out. Being outdoors, (and especially forests) gives me so much story inspiration. The smell of the fresh wooded air, the sound of the running creek, and the…[Read more] -

If your story has strong Christian themes, I would consider it a “Christian book”. The typical salvation story, like you mentioned, covers just one Christian theme: salvation through Christ. But that’s not all that the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches you how to live and teaches beauty and truth. If your book also teaches truth and living in a…[Read more]

Explain exactly? All right then.
A Crinkle Cookie is a is a baked or cooked food that is typically small, round and sweet. This confection is usually enjoyed around the holidays and it usually contains flour, sugar, and some type of oil or fat. It was invented by Helen Fredell in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Before baking, you lightly roll…[Read more]

So I was trying to get the Kingdom chef to add crinkle cookies to the menu, but he said he wouldn’t be able to add those to the cafe for another three months. 🙁 I guess you will have to wait for those crinkle cookies until sometime in November or December, then.
However, to make up for this, I decided to send some homemade crinkle…[Read more]
