Hey, friends, see if you can help me brainstorm for a bit.
So far, about fifty people have taken the reader behavior survey. That’s pretty awesome. Fifty people can show us some neat things about reader behavior, but we’re going to need a lot more need more if we’re hoping for reliable and detailed data.
So maybe my outlook was too limited.…[Read more]

@Northerner I have no idea where my first post went. Here. Have it again.
Okay guys.
@Hope gave me a book with three of G.K. Chesterton’s novels in it as an early birthday present, and though I have only read one of them so far it completely blew my mind.
It was The Ball and the Cross.Has anyone else read it? If so, can we please discuss how…[Read more]

@emma-l That’s so exciting! For a career, I’m not sure whether I’m going to have a musical career or writing, because both are my two biggest passions. I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was about 10 (I’ve been making up stories pretty much all my life, getting my mum to write them down before I could) but that was before the violin 😉

@emma-l That’s amazing! 😀 So music and writing is going to be more of a hobby for you? 🙂 Is there any specific place you feel God is calling you to serve missions in?

@emma-l Your book list sounds like mine! 🙂 Although, I have never heard of the Lamplighters books except on KP. What are they? Is it a series?

@Emma-L Ooh yes, cello and oboe are awesome too. (Provided they’re playing nice music, of course. 😛 A good kind for those are slow and dramatic and also sad pieces.)

@emma-l Wow, 10 years, that’s amazing, Emma! 😀 Are you wanting to pursue a musical career, or writing? (or something else entirely! 😀 )
@rolena-hatfield Yesh, that’s right 😉

@emma-l A hearty welcome to you! I just recently heard of Lamplighter books. Any recommendations besides the ones you and @christi-eaton have already mentioned? Are you working on any writing projects right now?
Also my sister loves to listen to Irish music! I wish I could record your Irish whistle, she’d flip!
Glad to have you…[Read more] -

@emma-l I love Lamplighter myself. I have slowly collected all of the audio dramas, and I have a decent collection of the books, they are so pretty I love to display them. Fun Fact, I am relistening to A Peep Behind the Scenes right now, I plan to do a book review on it soon.
I actually went to a used bookstore and they had some random antique…[Read more] -

@emma-l Welcome! Hey, Fire is one of my favorite books too! Have you read the rest of the series? Fire was my favorite, but I also liked the one with the French Revolution theme.

@Emma-L It depends on piece and mood, but probably violin. 🙂 Which is your favorite of all those you play?
