@josiahdeboer : Noooo of course you didn’t. *grin* And thank you. xD Glitter Ocelot came from the facts that I both love glitter and some people in my life decided that I’m actually deep down an ocelot. xD

@emma-flournoy *picks self daintily off the ground* That was unexpected. 😛 Not really lol, that’s my reaction when I so much as hear someone mention a show that I like.

@graciegirl @emma-flournoy Yeah, Pixar definitely failed with that one. Plus, the whole thing with the boy acting like a dog was weird. I have a feeling Pixar’s upcoming film, Coco, isn’t going to be any better.
I like Cars too, but not as much as I like Toy Story, Monsters Inc, or Finding Nemo. I think Cars 2 could have been better, but it w…[Read more]

@Emma-Flournoy I DIDN’T SAY IT WAS TRASH. I SAID IT FEELS LIKE TRASH BECAUSE I KNOW IT TOO WELL. NOTHING IS NEW ANYMORE. THE PASSION I HAVE HAS BEEN FELT A HUNDRED TIMES OVER.
*scowls* Just… deal with it. Maybe I’ll adore it again in five years. Idk.
Oh has it only been two? That’s actually a relief to hear… 😛 -

@Emily The part of my brain that is so done with life is strongly suggesting I abandon everything and go live by the ocean and eat chocolate for the rest of my days. However, the sentimental side of my brain loves this book and totally agrees with you. So yeah, thanks. I hope my sanity is recoverable. 😀

@emma-flournoy Actually, I’ve thought about “To Soar On Eagles”. It doesn’t seem very time travely, but it is a nice title, so I’ll leave it up there as an option.
Let me try to think of some more ideas.

@emma-flournoy Yeah medieval times and most things before then. I do also like the 1600 and 1700s (well the naval history anyways). What were your stories rip-offs of? I studied An Inspector Calls at school it was the one piece of literature I actually enjoyed. Do you have any suggestions for threads I should join? I am getting lost in the sheer…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy Oh okay, have you ever thought about writing? Is BBC often watched in America? (Sorry if you are not American, I have just assumed) One BBC play adaptation that is really good is An Inspector Calls. What era of British history to you like the most?
I just realised we are both vagrants on here. Me being the first Brit and you being…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy I like the movies as well. Even though now I don’t read as much as I’d like I find the books are often better. What do you write?

Hi friends,
As most of you know, I’ve written a time travel novel, but as yet, it is moanfully without a name.
I would like the title to hint at the genre, but it’s most important that it sounds cool and intriguing. I thought I’d list some ideas I’ve come up with and see if you have any other ideas or alterations.

Hey you! Not too bad, not too bad. I’m swamped with stuff I’m needing to do—or about to be starting—but I actually haven’t been HORRIBLY depressed for a good bit, so that’s something to be happy about right?!
How ’bout you? I just sent your letter off yesterday, so it should be coming soon. We got back last weekend from a homeschool family…[Read more]
Aww, I’m glad you haven’t been horribly depressed 🙂 I look forward to your letter. I have been as busy as heck. But it’s really been good. I love the people here. I’ll give you all the details in my letter. But I’ve found two ladies who have both adopted me so I sort of have a couple mentor characters which I absolutely love. I’ve been able to…[Read more]
Aww. <3 You too.
That stuff is so great! I'm glad there are so many nice people there.
Aaaand your birthday. Yup, I remember…you're turning 19 right?
@emma-flournoy
Yep. 19 I haven’t gotten your letter yet though I’m off campus right now and I’m sure it’ll be there on Monday 🙂 Don’t you just love this new website!! I’m so proud of the staff 🙂
I know! It’s really great.
@emma-flournoy
I got your letter today 🙂 Today was chaotic and was somewhat awful but I appreciated your letter 🙂 How are you?
Ah no. 🙁 I hope today’s better. I’m doing well. The weather just turned lovely, so we have doors and windows open and the wonderful fall breeze coming through the house. We’ll be canning apples this afternoon (my dad has a big spread-out orchard on our property—it’s the greatest thing with all the fresh apples we get to eat), and I just started…[Read more]
@emma-flournoy That sounds like a wonderful day! I’ve had some time to read actually which is nice, or at least I’m making time. I’m currently reading Speaker for the Dead, the second Ender’s Game book (It’s one of Josiah’s favorites so of course I had to read it 😉 )
Ooh, that does sound interesting. The name Ender’s Game is ringing a bell, so I must’ve heard of it before. Most likely on here. 😉 Is it good so far?
Yeah, it’s pretty popular. It was made into a movie a few years back. I really like it. Are you enjoying what you are reading?
