@rochellaine That’s okay, and byyye!
@seekjustice Ooooh, I haven’t recently, but I love anything by Jackie French. I mostly read for Australian things, anything by Henry Lawson and A.B.Patterson.

Fun fun.
Well, my blurb thing is this…
In a world where science reigns, and the society relies on the advancement of human abilities in order to keep moving forwards, genetic modification turns into a political war. People are taken in as ‘Experiments’ and are used to test new ways to advance society. Failed Experiments are treated as cre…[Read more]

Sam Kowal replied to the topic Outlining – Love It or Hate It? in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years, 1 month ago
@waterlily I do outline, although not extremely extensively. I pretty much plan the ending of my story first, work back, plan out all the major plot beats and what’s going to happen in the chapters. If I have an idea for a scene or something of the sort, a piece of dialogue I want in, I mark that down, too, to go somewhere in the narrative.…[Read more]

@skye, welcome to the bestiest place anywhere and everywhere.
You ride??? lucky. the only time I get to is when I visit my Granddad.

@skye 😀 Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet! That’s cool that you lead a Bible Study. I don’t think I’ve meant a teenager who does that. What parts of the Bible have you studied most recently?
I love fantasy, too! I’m a fantasy writer, for the most part. I have a pet dragon named Stan, who I rescued as a hatch-ling.

Most people ’round here think of nice, book related questions to ask, but here’s a few generic ones…
Favorite color?
Left-handed or right-handed?
Do you play an instrument?
Welcome to KP!

@seekjustice I finished it. AHHH I just LOVE how you tied Les Mis and AToTC together! That is So. Cool! But all the sadness. *cries* So soon. It’s too much o_o Until there’s more, of course!
Also *shakes finger* Poor @rochellaine *hands you some tissues*

Welcome, welcome @skye! I take it you have stalked these forums enough to know the drill. 😛
Do you have any main songs/collections/sounds that you tend to listen to while writing?

That’s okay. Maybe you’ll like them anyway. Fair enough about being picky. And it’d probably be good for me, knowing that not everyone likes my stuff. 😛

Sam Kowal replied to the topic Is this boring???? in the forum Novel Critique Requests 8 years, 1 month ago
@mnvalentine I think it is somewhat boring, in a way. Of course, there’s the question, ‘What’s going to happen next?’ which is partially engaging and makes me want to read more. But, the characters and the conflict didn’t drag me in for the first chapter. August has some conflict because he’s not as popular as Trent, but he didn’t seem to want…[Read more]
