( @ethryndal I just found your blog today. And you are much more than mildly entertaining.)
@dekreel I don’t have a blog, but I want to have a website at least in the future. This is what I’ve heard: If you want one for writerly reasons, blogging helps with platform. People have a place to find you (though an author website can do that too), and…[Read more]

@Ariel-Ashira Oh man, I can sympathize with the whole “major changes, God’s guidance” thing. I’ll pray for you and your family, dear. Hope everything turns out well.

@Dekreel I think the reason a lot of us blog is to build a platform for when we get published. That’s part of the reason I do it. The other part is because people tell me I’m mildly entertaining, and I figured I’d better take advantage of that while I can. 😉

@dekreel Idk I guess I also have relatively selfish reasons for blogging. My blog is really just a filing cabinet full of stuff I’ve learned (that might be helpful for other people).
Whenever I learn some really cool insight on Scripture or life in general I write up a blog post about it. Or if I want to delve into story theory/mechanics then I…[Read more]

@rochellaine Woah. It makes me feel much better about westerns. Wow. And wow. Roy Rogers wouldn’t do any of those things in movies? I’m kind of speechless. I wish we could see that nowadays.

@rochellaine You’re welcome. :’D
Yes. I die rather frequently… at least compared to the average human ( @livgiordano can hopefully back me up 😉 ), but thank you for the flowers.
AH YES! This must be the explanation for my frequent deaths 😛 And why no one’s searched through my pockets for loose change yet…

Sorry @dekreel , but I agree with @rochellaine . XD Constant protesting may even make the truth seem questionable 😉 😀
Also, I regret to inform you all that due to repeated use of the KP website, I have died of laughter. 😛 Will you all attend my funeral? 😀

@rochellaine Yeah, I used to not like westerns at all, or at least the ones we had, mostly because of how the women were treated in them 😛 And most of those westerns were with John Wayne. Y’know, I take it back. Please disregard what I said before about excluding genres XD I haven’t seen many old sci-fi or romances, so I think I based my…[Read more]

@rochellaine *faints*
Hmm, that’s interesting about Pilgrim’s Progress. Is something like Beowulf considered pre-fantay if it came hundreds of years before Pilgrim’s Progress?
@ashlyvye I write fantasy, primarily, but currently I’m working on something which is more like sci-fi/ dystopian. Realistic science fantasy sounds really cool :D. The…[Read more]

@rochellaine Oh wow. So, I’m going to give a horrible answer and say most genres 😛 The ones I’d rather avoid unless they’re very good are romance (it’s okay if it’s part of the plot, just not the plot), mysteries, sci-fi, and westerns (it’s okay if you include them though; I’ve just had some bad experiences with them). Does that narrow it down?…[Read more]

Someday, unfortunately NOT someday soon, I want to start a blog. But basically the only reason I want to right now is because a bunch of you guys are also doing it, and I want to join the bandwagon. And because, well, who wouldn’t want a website where they talked about themselves a lot??
So I was wondering if there are other better, less…[Read more]

@sleepwalkingmk Yessss, you’ve seen Hidden Figures!! It’s been awhile since I’ve watched it, but I recall it being very good.
I KNOW! Honestly, why must nearly ALL adult movies be on the PG-13/R scale?! I agree.

@dekreel I’m like you. I don’t usually like PG-13 movies, and don’t watch them unless they’re Marvel. Or Star Wars. And I never want to watch an R movie again. So generally PG movies. Which are animated. Which isn’t bad; I like Pixar 😀 But I think it’s a shame that there aren’t many PG movies aimed toward adults (besides most Christian films).…[Read more]
