Don’t worry @xonos-darkgrate @salome01w4g, I don’t like Leia either.
@That_Writer_Girl_99 Do you remember, when you’d just recently joined the forum, before you’d even made your introductory topic, you were on some other topic and one of the first things we talked about was Luke? I said I didn’t like him and you said he was one of your…[Read more]

@Dragon-Snapper @Ethryndal Guys, THIS READER IS THE SAME.
” I always liked it when my favorite character in a book or movie got beat up. ”
*extreme nodding* We’re like psychopaths, but it makes us love them more. It does. *hugs specific characters in mind*
And then feel a million times happy when they get happy again. -

YAAAYYY! Don’t become an endangered species. *sorrowful blink*
STUFF is a convoluted pain. Hopefully it’ll allow you more opportunities to be on here, but see, even if you don’t feel like it, people miss you a lot! Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that. 😀 But we need our Green Lady. <3*crickets*
Did you see the Loki article? 😀

@Ethryndal Oh don’t worry, it’s very tragic. It will be terribly sorrowful and thematically amazing.
And we must never forget the existence of redemption arcs.
We’ll get to actually read it in about 102 years, since it’s in the last book of the 11 book series, so there’s plenty of time for speculation.@Kate-Flournoy, if you start a topic…[Read more]

Oho, I bet you’ll like Hornblower. *gleeful grin* If you like M&C already…
I’ve only read the first Hornblower book and wasn’t impressed, but the mini-series is one of our favoritest things.Very good. *firm nod* Hope you’ll/they’ll not have a hard time coming to a satisfactory descision, whatever it be. 😉

@Jess-penrose Ha!! That would definitely contribute. 😀

That’s funny, with all those books/authors you mentioned, I’ve watched more screen adaptations of any of ’em than read the books. 😀 All very good. Your dad has good taste.
Heh. Well, that’s good to know. 😛

@jess-penrose Ohh, sorry! It’s an expression, but the way I wrote it did look a little odd. 😛 If someone has a mind like a steel trap, it means it lets nothing out—steel traps contain everything they catch. Thus, a mind like a steel trap contains and keeps straight everything it catches. So your brother must have a mind like a steel trap. 😀

Ohhh…no, I remember that now. Igh.
That’s a sound plan. *claps you on the shoulder* Dads are good for help. 😉 Especially book-ish dads, which yours sounds to be.
And hey, it’s been a nice conversation with you here, despite any strange subject material. 😛 -

He’s a really great character in that he’s real–he’s not a perfect villain, and there’s this strange thing about him where he’s fighting the urge to turn to the “light side”, something not seen much in movies.
@That_Writer_Girl_99 Precisely. 😀 I agree. Did you know he’s an INFP?
@Kate-Flournoy Um, ow. *chokes* If that is an accident it is…[Read more]

@Kate-Flournoy Ugh. :/
What about Leia? She has to die somehow, doesn’t she?

Oh wait, you died. Oh well.
*bawls* I wasn’t ready for you to do that yet, Kate. :'(

@Kate-Flournoy That sounds very good. Him pulling her down and them eventually meeting in the middle.
That would be WOW.
Here are the smelling salts. *ss* Also—just being the voice of cheer here—you’re going to be living in a wheelchair after the seizure you have either way. If it does OR doesn’t happen that way. So just be prepared.

@Emma-Flournoy Why doesn’t this surprise me… XD
Well, be happy, because every good character I ever write is probably going to suffer mass amounts of torture. After all, there IS a reason writers are likened to villains…
And don’t tell me Denholm is a tortured character…
Thou art SHREWD, milady. XD XD XD
I plead the Fifth. Thou shalt discover for thyself.
Since nothing I just said is telling in the least.
Your subtlety will never cease to amaze me. XD
@emma-flournoy @ethryndal Yes–when I was younger and before I started writing, my friends always told me that I had to be the badguy. And why?
Because I was so good at it.
*headdesk*
*confetti*
I can’t decide.
And who in KeePer is Denholm?
Wait. *glances around*
Is it from Kate’s book?
@Ethryndal I know. 😂
@Dragon-Snapper BRAVO! How ever did you guess?
And I can see how you’d make a good bad guy… 😀
