@rochellaine Or can you imagine in the world were you could only use the words a certain number of times, that every few years, you would move to another country with a different language and a different culture. That would be interesting.
I did come up with these myself, and had no idea what to do with them until I saw this and hope someone can use them. They’re just some random phrases that sound like they would make some good book titles.
The Age After Forever
By the Light of the Lightning
@inklng-for-christ
Yes, Faramir! I think he was the only book crush I’ve ever had (or the others have slipped my mind). Faramir is always in my top five(or three, it really depends) LOTR characters.
You know you’re a bookworm when you go to your mom and say, “Mom, I need to get a new bookshelf soon.”
You know you’re a bookworm (and obsessed with LOTR) when your best friend gets you the complete collection of illustrated Lord of the Rings book for your birthday. I was so happy.
You know you’re a bookworm when you find a good book and never put it down, not even when eating, and all that week you barely sleep, and when you’re finished you think, “Wow, what an accomplishment! I should get a life now. Lol, no not really, where’s the next book?”
@rochellaine I listen to audiobooks and I find myself moving my hands and making faces when walking around the house. I don’t think my family has caught me doing it yet 😉I love that idea! I like the concept of the followers getting their own instrument. Another idea would be that instead of the villain from abolishing music, he could use it in a different way, a more sinister way, or have a different weapon. Anyway, it’s a really fun idea! 😀
Hey, It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on the forums. (But I’ve been here…in the shadows…mwahaha!) Ok, enough with the creepiness. I’ve never really been in the writers’ corner and am determined to check it out. I’ll be writing for a wee bit.
Thought this belonged here,
The age after forever.
Would you fly if you knew you could fall?

what helped with my flat character, but may not work well for made up names, is when you see the meaning of the name you picked for that character and how it may apply to the story. My flat characters name was Sol, which I knew meant sun in three different languages(at least) but I found out in Hebrew it meant peace and that somehow made my character have more of a purpose.@catwing
If you want some random ideas, I have a few. A blade that burns organic materials. A sword that sings when good weather comes. A sword that absorbs sunlight and the wielder will see in the dark. I hope you find what you’re looking for!@emily
That’s so awesome!
@everyone-else
These are all so amazing. I don’t really have anything to contribute, just wanted to say thanks for those who posted something 🙂@Ingridrd
Like what @kate-flournoy said. It’s adorable and comfortable. Unlike Toy Story though, which I love, the stuffed animal only interacts with the girl and it keeps it’s childlike mindset, innocent, content, and curious.@anne-of-lothlorien
This totally brightened my day! I’m a new kapeefer, but that just was the best!@Daeus
This is an amazing idea and I totally think you should continue it as a short stmy mind began to go on a bunch of inspiring rabbit holes. This is an amazing idea and I totally think you should continue it as a short story.You know your a writer when you are writing that a character gets poisoned or shot with an arrow or what a loom is and how to work it and research for the next two days, “What is the likelihood of surviving an arrow wound?” “How do you remove an arrow?” “What kinds of poison are there and first aid?” “How does a loom work?” I know because I recently did this like yesterday. When I do this I always think of the phrase “write what you know,” and think, write what you don’t know and learn!

Besides KP, I use the dictionary/thesaurus/wikipedia on my computer a lot! I did have scrivener for a short period, but then the computer I was using got replaced and now I’m trying to figure out how to update my laptop enough to get it on here.
Fantasynamegenerators.com is super helpful. I usually don’t like taking fantasy names that either don’t have a meaning or aren’t my idea, but it’s good for inspiration.
Also baby naming websites have saved me a lot of time.For inspiration, I find for me that there’s nothing better than sitting in the back seat of a car and listening to music while staring out the window. I get super excited when my family goes on an hour+ car ride.
*looks back at huge rant…post*
