@emberlynn Shinkai is actually a fan of Ghibli, haha. His movie “Children Who Chase Lost Voices” is by far the most similar one to theirs. @emberlynn It wasn’t even that it was slow (I usually don’t mind slow things) it’s just with WWII and watching children suffering for a couple of hours…I couldn’t really stomach it. But, yeah, I could definitely talk about Studio Ghbili for hours. Have you watched any of Makoto Shinkai’s works?

Ooh, I love those! My top favorites are Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle. I’ve watched almost all of theirs, I think, except for Grave of the Fireflies. I tried watching that twice but couldn’t get past 20 minutes.
