Same toast! Same name! Same person! XD@northerner
ooh, thanks. Actually that first title sounds familiar… I feel like maybe I started to read it?
@graciegirl
Painting is very fun so I don’t blame you! XD@emma-flournoy
C.S. Lewis is amazing!Hehe thanks.
Ooh, cool- I don’t think I know any other ENFJS. I might know an ISFJ? Not sure.@emma-flournoy
Hi! 😀 Thanks! Who’s your favorite philosopher?Ummm I’m not even sure. I’ve had some tests give me INFP and some give me INFJ, so mostly I just say INFx. Haha. What’s yours?
@kate-flournoy
Sorry- never my intention. 😛
My non-history/ ancient lit endeavours are much less impressive. I only know a lot about it because that’s my passion, I’m hoping to go into a history field later. 😛 Thanks for the welcome!@aratrea
That’s a lot of latin. O.O Very impressive. Did you do Henle or Veritas Press or something else?yeah, I think Nicomachean Ethics was the one I read. Really? I didn’t know he wrote anything about storytelling. I should see if that’s at my library.
@graciegirl
Oooh abstract is fun. Do you ever do any colored pencils?
@anne-swiftblade
Yep! 😛 Hello again! I’m toast.
@jane-maree
WHAT YES I KNOW YOU 😀 😀 *tackle-hugs back* So good to see a familiar face/avvie XD
@aratrea
Um… not entirely sure? I took a three-ish years when I was younger, but we never finished the book per year. And then two years in high-school before I stopped, so I guess three years? But I only have beginning knowledge because it’s been so long and because every year I re-started at page one. 😛 have you took latin/for how long?Aristotle… yeah, sometimes his stuff does seem pretty compelling. Though I’ve not read as much from him.
@that_writer_girl_99
WOW. O.O Eight years is a long time! I bet you’re really good.Good to know! I’ll check them out- thanks!
Oh, oops- I missed your last question, Elizabeth, sorry! I have a year-ish on flute, some reasonable understanding with tin whistle, and am teaching myself guitar and ukulele. But really nothing mastered. You?
@daeus
That’s awesome though! I’ve not met very many people who even know what it is, let alone have done it!
@that_writer_girl_99
<3
Haha! Yes, I understand that. Writing with paper/typing tends to be the prefered means of communication among writers.@adry_grace
@ethryndal
Touche. Can’t argue with that- Mary Poppins will always be victorious.@ethrynal
Thanks! I prefer Fantasy, yeah. 😛 What do you like to write in?@northerner
No, though I’ve had a few friends suggest him, I still haven’t got to it. Have you? Do you like his works?
@christi-eaton
Thank you! I heard about KP through One Year Adventure Novel.
@adry_grace
<3 Plato is the best! Hm. hard question. Again probably Plato. 😛@stewie-plotter
I graciously accept your invitation!
The Greeks came up with great foundations first. They didn’t mind sitting and thinking, while the Romans were too busy inventing things (notice I said in my original post that the Greeks were better in /almost/ every way- I’ll give the Romans inventions). But the Greeks had philosophy. The Greeks had Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle.1.)Define stronger. The Greeks at least began to recognize the fact that they were violent and ought to have different goals (i.e. The Iliad and the Odyssey)
2.)Is it better to invent the lightbulb, or to invent a lampshade?
3.)Bigger numbers does not make the Romans better. Numbers don’t mean a thing, honestly. In fact, the Greeks still stood bravely knowing they would lose. They were a /better/ group of people, instead of a /bigger/ group of people.
4.)That was how God used a bad thing for his glory. You can’t honestly say that overall the Romans purposefully did good for the Christians.
@graciegirl
Thank you! Acrylic is fun too. I prefer to paint nature/ things- not skilled enough in people 😛 You?@winter-rose
Thank you! My favorite book…er. At the moment I’d say Mere Christianity, the Giver, or Fahrenheit 451. What are some of your favorites?- This reply was modified 7 years, 6 months ago by Elly.
@daeus
Haha! Touche.Thanks for the welcome! Why 2.0? Was there another that died?
I’m working on the Aliferous, my novel in which I break all writing rules known to man (or the less important ones anyway).
Parliamentarian? *googles* Oh- goodness, no. I’m talking about the lesser known Parliamentary formal debate- It’s similar to more widely known formal debate (i.e. Team Policy and Lincoln Douglas) but it’s impromptu and there’s no cross-x.
